Hi Gang,

Talking about Tiara's - well I am joining the "Grown-up Princess" Night (along w/DD Lori) although - I think at this point in my life - I shall be Queen. (I bought a fancy dress & shoes also!!)

Anyway - today I got my Tiara!!! I've been wearing it as I've tried to ketchup - bunch of chatty folks!! I love my Tiara!!

For those who aren't sure about getting a tiara - oh - go ahead. As some have mentioned Claire's has inexpensive ones and it just is so much FUN!!!!

Hey -

I bought magnetic frames from Michaels - just put in a printed picture and put it up on the door. Then you can change pictures during the cruise!!

I just checked UPS - they HAVE OUR CRUISE DOC'S!!!!!! They are scheduled to be delivered on Friday.

Mine are on the way, not to be delivered until Monday though.

I just got my formal dress today from my favorite store . . .eBay . . .LOL I'm just excited to find one that fit . . .now the tiara

Dawn, It's great to see you posting! It was nice meeting you last weekend for our minimeet downtown. I think we just moved from the excited stage to the "OMG it's almost here and we have too much to get done in the next 2 1/2 weeks stage"!



So are they going to show Beverly Hills Chihahua or not? The website does say it won't be released until October 3rd. If so, that's too bad as I would have loved for it to be on the ship as I have no desire to see it, but the kids saw the trailer when we saw Wall-E and really want to see it. Having it on DCL will help prevent me from losing a good two hours of my life!

That's just too weird!



The heat in Colorado is different than we're used to in Kansas City because of the lack of humidity, but when the thermostat hits 95 or 100, it's still hot! And the sun here can be very intense. The nice thing about Colorado is that there is no "heat index", it is usually cool in the shade and at night it does cool down quite a bit to give you a break. We've been getting up nearly every morning to workout and I have only worn short-sleeves one time. I generally have to wear a light jacket and long pants.



If you want us to print magnets for you, just let me know and we can meet up.

Don't know if you have one/checked there, but the outfit described above came from Nordstroms and each piece was sold separately. Just a thought...

The only Nordstroms in town isn't real close, but I did check at Dillard's tonight and found some pants which I think will work with his shirt and tie. I just need to try them on him to make sure they fit.

Hello everyone!

Has anyone started packing?

Looks like we will be bringing an extra suitcase (or two) 5-6 in total. Ugh!

I can't believe the amount of stuff we accumulated over the last 18 months. I was packing one of our suitcases and more and more stuff kept on appearing. It felt like the episode of "I Love Lucy" when Ricky and Fred are packing th car for the trip to LA.

Good luck to all. Only 3 weeks to go!

Heck yes - I packed a couple of weeks ago and have only revisited it once. I have one pair of swim shorts to go in and I'm done.

Robert is even mostly packed - just needs double checking and he's good too.

Oh bless you !!! You have made my day. I checked and our docs will be here tomorrow!! Yeah! Timing is perfect. DH is under a ton of stress at work and he really needed something to cheer him up. The docs will go a long way to doing that.

These are Southern California 3 day PH tickets. However, many have reported that DL doesn't check to ID to verify that you're a SoCal resident (much like they don't let food in the parks )

The risk is that they do require ID and you have to "upgrade" to a 2 day PH for $136.

There are a few SoCal Residents (Michelle, Jen, etc.) that have generously offered to purchase these $99 tickets for other pirates. Michelle said that where she buys them, they don't charge tax so they aren't $107, but $99.
