Hi All,

I am enjoying seeing what you all suggest for NYC, Our kids are too young for that at the moment but I would love to visit either with DH or my cousin so it is all interesting to read!

I paid off the balance of my pre cruise WDW stay today which was great. Even though it was from Walt Disney Travel UK I still got through to a US cast member and somehow the accent just makes me smile!

I have been trying to amend a couple of things on my cruise plans for the last two days! I have managed to change my Exotic Rasul booking to Thursday but amending my nursery bookings and cancelling my original Exotic Rasul booking are taking ages! I keep getting error 500 saying I can't amend my plans at the present time. the nursery bookings I have are OK I just wanted to fiddle with them, and so long as I can cancel the second Rasul booking between now and the cruise that will be ok.

I can't believe how quickly things are coming around now. I still have to sort out Olivias passport which I must do this week, I will use the Post Office check and send service which usually means you get them back in two weeks but I don't want to leave it too close as passport office is always busier around this time of year.

I will be starting my packing list at the weekend and putting some things which were bought specially for the cruise, or which we won't need before then, into piles in the spare room.

Soooooooooooo Excited!

Laura,

YOu would love Tony's here is the link http://www.tonysnyc.com/menu/index3.html

Yes, that is the correct location.....

If you rent a car the hotel will have parking. It depends what type of hotel you want... We have stayed in and around Rockefeller nice and quite at night. There is a nice Hilton near there or if you want like a "mini" apartment we have stayed on business at the Club Quaters. The rooms have fridges, etc.. Here is the link to this :: http://www.clubquarters.com/loc_nyRockefellerCenter.aspx

Let me know if you have any more questions my husband's home office is in the city. Also, let me know what show you want to see I may be able to get you a discount!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We've visited NYC twice as tourists with our kids. We loved it. We've stayed at the Hampton Inn Time Square and the one closer to Penn Station. We like them because of the free breakfast. Food is pricey and takes too much time.

These are the things we've done that we'd do again:

1) See a Broadway Play! I'd suggest Mary Poppins, Lion King, The Little Mermaid or Jersey Boys.....we see a play every night.

2) American Museum of Natural History

3) Use the subway or walk everywhere. Taxis are good too, just more expensive.

4) Walked across the Brooklyn Bridge

5) Ate at Ellen's Stardust Diner

Things we'd like to do next visit:

1) Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island

2) Top of Empire State Building

3) Ride bikes in Central Park

4) Visit Ground Zero (we visited the Twin Towers years before 9/11)

Have fun!

OMG !!! So much to dream about !! That Ellen's diner keeps coming up !!:thumbsup2 I'd like to go to the top of the Empire building too.
We were thinking about paying a visit to Ground Zero ...

THANKYOU Anna for your  lovely list !!!

Have a great trip to France and we will chat soon!

Good Morning Everyone!

I was so excited because I got the proof for our lanyards..and they look GREAT!!!!!:cool1:

I made one little change in the layout but then approved them for final production!!! They should now take about 14 days and then will arrive at my house!!!

I can't wait to get them and pack them up for our trip. I plan on sending them in a box to the ship so I don't have to pack them all. I will probably put all my FE stuff in the box as well.

Each time I complete a task on my list it makes me feel like the trip is getting really close and I am so excited! :cool1:

Have a great day everyone!

WOW !!! :thumbsup2 That's great !! Can't wait to wear MY lanyard !!

Such a good idea to send all of your FE stuff and C. to the ship ! I had thought of this too - but sending a box Italy-US would cost a :scared1: fortune !!!
SO ;) I'm looking around for nice BUT light weight small gifts !!!

CIAO !! Have a good :goodvibes day, laura

Hi All,

I have been working on one of my FE gifts today, doing the design and making the first stage of the prototype! Fingers crossed they will all turn out ok when I go into mass production this evening once the children are in bed!

JAneanne - so good to hear that after a major op your baby neice is home where she belongs and on the road to recovery. Sending lots of best wishes and pixie dust that she continues to get better.

Jen, so exciting to hear about the lanyards! :)
