Stephen, my daughter Haley is 11 do you want to hear from girls as well or just boys? She is into sports, plays basketball and softball and is on the swimteam. She also LOVES climbing the rock walls on cruises. She will pretty much be on her own on the cruise because her younger sister has a friend her own age coming. They tend to go off on their own. The more people she can meet the better! Otherwise she's stuck hanging out with the adults! (not that we're not fun mind you). I will have her log on today after school.

Could you get Haley to PM Stephen/Alice on the DISNAME AL'N'STEVE, they are looking for friends for the cruise, I must say Stephen is of the age that he is a Boys Boy, and not into 'girls' just yet, but The rock climbing and softball, might well get his attention as he is very adventurous.

Haley is just 2 years younger than Alice so she would correspond as well.

I think they want to organize a party on our verandah!!!!! (its a big one!)

Has anyone looked lately how much our cruise price has gone up? WOW!!! It seems like it goes up every week....I wonder how many more people will actually book with Disney and pay those prices......?????

All I know is I'm glad I booked when I did.
I hope to pay it off by the end of March, it just depends on this years Bonus

Has anyone looked lately how much our cruise price has gone up? WOW!!! It seems like it goes up every week....I wonder how many more people will actually book with Disney and pay those prices......?????

Yes, whilst a few of this cruise meets company have departed or transfered, this is a very popular cruise, its in the middle of school holidays and a special port as a destination on a limited offer.

So after a slow start when 09 bookings opened its sold very well indeed so some people are paying those prices.

I will make a prediction, whilst many cruisers are not on the Disboards, I bet that this thread will be busy with many new people joining us, just before the booking window opens say at the 105>90 day mark.

How could this thread get any more busy than it already is...! I showed my friend Nancy who is going on this cruise as well, the Cruise Meets and how most of the cruises have 1 thread, maybe 2 and then I showed her the Tortolla Treasure Seekers which is on #4....she thought that was pretty funny!

It had a quick start but slowed down, the Baltic cruise one for 2010, is nearly matching this now and has more thana year to go.

I think we have a full cruise and people tend to join about shore trip time to exchange ideas and join in.

We have two boys - ages 14 and 12 on the cruise. We have swooped in a few times to try and keep up with the posts, but our weekends have been insane lately. We have sooooo many pages to catch up with. I will pass this along to them.

Oh we were doing that early on, then we lost some of the more "chatty" people. I suspect as planning for the excusions begin, the pace will pick up again.

After all its not the quanity of post that matter. Its good people getting to know each other, and the planning of the up comming cruise.

I know our cruise from OCtober we are still all chatting.. It is hard for me to keep up with this one, the last one and my one that I have planned for 2010......LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can't wait to go on this cruise!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Last cruise (Eastern Carribean in April 2006) we didnt do this, but we had a pretty good chat going pre-cruise. This is a great idea!

We did do the door magnets to distinguish ourselves. I still keep my magnet on the refrigerator - it brings back great memories.
