I'll say it a million times, I so wish I could fly up there for a weekend!!!!!!! Well, if this new job pans out then maybe I will. I should get two weeks of vacation the first year, and I'd get another two weeks right before cruise time. How's that for inviting myself!

I would love that. Then we could bounce on the trampoline together and harrass, Harry and Ed, Jeff and everyone else together over a few drinks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I remember doing farm field trips with the boys... thats when they acutally let me go with them!

I tried to sign up for my oldest trip in May and got the "Mom are you really gonna go!" So I took my name off the list and cried for days.

DH said "Honey its really hard to look cool when your mom is licking her finger and rubbing the ketcup off your cheek." So I had to let my little boy go pretend to be a man for a day. BOY WAS IT HARD!!!!

Oh gosh I will be soo sad when the girls say that to me...!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, it was more like 4:20. You know how the board clock is about 30 minutes off. I couldn't sleep. You can only toss and turn for so long!

Tim has a swim meet on Saturday.... and since the forecast here is for the mid-90s all weekend we also will spend most of time in the pool! Nothing else planned. How 'bout you?

We moms are so underappreciated, finger licking and all.

DS has been in his room off and on since school let out, crying because it's the last day. I feel so bad for him because he's never been so sad about school being over. I keep trying to reassure him that we'll have alot of fun this summer, but it's not working.

Thats so sad, poor guy....
We have someone in our family who has been crying too now that school is out ....Her name is NANA!!! (aka: grandmother, aka: summer time babysitter)

Oh gosh I will be soo sad when the girls say that to me...!!!!!!!!!!!

I still get plenty of love and affection in private but my public days are numbered. ...

I think we have the same temps as you Christa! It has been terrible. Last week weren't we in the 40's at night? And this week the A/C is getting a major workout.

I'm crying because I want to get a summer break too. Although I'm sure my MIL (who watches the kids) could relate to NANA! My kids will be driving her crazy in no time flat.

I know..All I can say is thank heavens for family, It has been the main reason we never left the area. I have such a wonderful support system around me that the thought of leaving would be so hard.

There may be nothing to do around here but when we do veture out..I never have to pay a babysitter...lol
