This will be my first cruise going alone with my DS who will be 12 when we leave. Any other single parents onboard that would want to dine at Palo's for dinner, brunch, tea or all of them??

Also can someone please tell me how to get that cute cruise picture in my siggie? Thanks!

Actually I'm v-e-r-y lucky this year as we're boarding the Wonder on May 11th which is Mother's Day in the US... Never let it be said that I don't know how to milk a celebration both sides of the Atlantic...

Hi everyone, I'm afraid I haven't managed to keep up with you and don't know whether I can manage to read through about a trillion posts since I was last on the disboards! (Thanks, Ed, for the instructions on how to add the signature logos.)

Glad to read you had a wonderful Mother's Day Karen, I had lunch at the Compleat Angler in Marlow overlooking the river with my family on Saturday because I had to take Tom to Banbury for a rugby match yesterday. Hope you had a good half term too.

Both my kids have been off school on antibiotics, Tom with a horrible sinus infection and Sophie with a nasty ear infection in both ears, but they're back today. Hope everyone in the group is feeling hale and hearty, if not, please get better soon.

Hi Joan! What a fab place to go for Mother's Day - I've heard excellent reports!!!

We had a good half term tho' unfortunately we didn't get out and about much as I was ill thro'out the break with sinusitis and an ear infection!!! It took 3 lots of antibiotics to sort me out - I only finished the final dose on Friday... My DH took a couple of half days at the end of the week so Samuel was able to go shopping and to the cinema but school is so hectic, I think he just appreciates the time to chill...

Sorry to hear about Tom and Sophie - hope they're feeling fit and well now...

Nothing much going on in South East London - I've done the bare minimum chore-wise and concentrated on pounding the treadmill! After dinner at an Italian restaurant on Friday evening (I swore no dessert but saw Banoffee Pie and caved) and lunch at a Greek restaurant yesterday, I figure I've got some major calorie-dropping to do this week so decided to start as I mean to go on...
