?.... I also booked the "group" rate w/ Carol.

:confused3 ..Can anyone explain the whole PALO thing? Is it a special lunch just for us or is it that she covers the fee?

Thanks for any help...:)

I think she covers the fee and books the private room for us. If I'm mistaken then hopefully Kristin will know for sure. If we end up with a larger group than the private room will hold then I would prefer the reception, so we can smuggle in the likes of Harry, Karen, Jeff, and anyone else not booked with her too. :rotfl: Plus if the munchkins are included in the reception then that'll give them another opportunity to meet/see eachother. Either way, DH and I plan on doing Palo for brunch, with any luck.

I know this is probably very, very wrong but I'm high on antibiotics, painkillers and US crime shows so my sense of propriety is somewhat blurred BUT is it OK if I crash the cocktail reception (I'll bring my own, promise) and/or the Palo Brunch..? :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

Karen-

How are you feeling??! I'm missing my morning ketchup sessions with you. Hope you are doing better.

Ours is TERRIBLE right now. DH and I spent half an hour trying to find the restaurant. During that time the roads went from clear to slick. Then by the time we were done everything was completely snow covered. We are having snow tonight and freezing rain/ice tomorrow. My boss told us we can sit and stare at the cancellations on tv all we want, but we'll never see our company listed, so we better be at work in the morning. :rotfl:

How was your anniversary dinner, did you guys enjoy yourselves? :flower3:
The snow hasn't started here yet, supposedly after 10pm.:scared1:
I work at a bank, we don't close unless the Federal Reserve closes- fat chance for that to happen, only once in the 12 years I've been in banking, and that time the snow almost covered my car.:scared1:

Due,, tell!!!!!!!!!!

When it asks you to pick a number, notice in the box there is only one or two numbers the same color in each box.

Col 3 had the following numbers
4,11,25,17,12 in this group 25&12 were green I picked 25.

So you push the green button The next choice is you can pick any color.
This is to throw you off, it has no real effect.

Then you see the numbers again, only grouped differently
House C has the following numbers 17,25,14,20,8,28
all numbers in this group is red. doesn't matter.

So choose house C

At this point the system knows from the first question I pick color green,
only 25 & 12 were green in this group,
so when I choose house C only one number in this group was originally green. This is number 25

You can select any circle in the next question is doesn't matter.
That will show 3 doors, what ever door you select will have the correct number.

I think we can get them in, we will have to pretend they are our kids. :rotfl: :rotfl:
I want to definately do Palo brunch with Steve as well, if I can get it booked.:flower3:

We have offices worldwide, we too seldom close being the IT support center. While some of us can work from home, they mainly expect us in the office.

Dinner was nice! We went to a german mom and pop restaurant. We both had schnitzel. DH bought me a diamond ring and I bought him the wedding band. He wasn't thrilled about his gift, but I figured he wouldn't be. :rotfl2: When I handed him the bag I said "sorry honey but it's not a Wii"! I explained that I wanted to give him something meaningful, not something that down the road he won't remember what I bought. Oh well. I tried.

Last year my work called off one day, and wouldn't it figure it was a day I was on vacation anyway!!! But that is the first time in a LONG time they'd closed the offices. Even though we don't pour much concrete in the winter, the corporate office is always busy! Everyone be careful this weekend!

The fee is covered and is booked for us in a private dining room. Or we get the welcome cocktail reception. If DCL changes what they offer then she will notify us but this is what they are offering for group bookins now!!!
