We had an ice storm, too..... right now though it is 59 degrees?!?!? I give up!

Last night,

Snow
then Sleet
Then more freezing Rain,

This morning rain, that froze on our breezeway, which is always a few degrees cooler than the rest of the area,

Now it looks like a monsoon outside.

Tonight possible snow flurries I just heard.

This cruise can't come soon enough

Just sent DW a huge arrangement of roses, balloons, chocolates, etc. I'm sure that'll make her day!

Just got back from the doctor. She has strep throat. As funny as it may seem this is the best case scenerio, she will be better by Friday and she can go swimming. If it was the flu or an ear infection we probably wouldn't have been able to go away. I just hope me and hubby don't get it.

Same thing happened to Jake last year... he got sick a day or so before we were leaving to go on a weekend trip for his brother's swim meet. Strep test came back positive and we were like "yeah!" as crazy as that sounds!! It responds quickly to treatment though. We are crazy about handwashing, etc. in our house so we were actually able to avoid its spread, too. Good luck!

Nothing for the day itself apart from cards and a gift - restaurants around here tend to do an overpriced Valentine's menu so we'll be out on Friday evening as usual...

Good news, my Dad is getting out of the hospital!! I think we will have to keep an eye on him, until he can see his regular doctor- possibly tonight or tomorrow.
