Thanks so much Karen!! My Mom said they were talking to the doctor now. How was your trip to Paris?

Fingers crossed it's good news for you and your family! pixiedust:

Paris was lovely this weekend - such beautiful sunny weather, it was a pleasure to stroll around our bit of the city. We used to live there and still have a tiny apartment which has just had a new kitchen installed - so we mainly went to check that out. Fortunately it's gorgeous - so, all in all, a fab trip... :thumbsup2

I know the feeling,

Today was the first day I used my heavy jacket too.
It was just too cold this morning. heck even the dog didn't want to go out.

Thanks for everyone's best wishes!! They are going to admit my Dad and run some more tests, and do his dialysis, which needed to be done today anyway. Hopefully I'll know more soon!!!

Yeah, I actually wore gloves, a scarf, and a hat!! I never wear any of that unless it's bitter cold outside!!:scared1:

Abby - In reference to that last message...think Ned Ryerson from "Groundhog Day"! "I dated your sister a few times until you told me not to anymore?" :rotfl:

Have a Happy Monday!

OMG that is hilarious and true!!! We watched it on Feb 3rd (yeah a day late) then today we were speculating what the weather was going to be like tomorrow. My head boss came in at that moment and started his own animated interpretation of the weather. I busted out laughing and told him I was expecting Bill Murray from Groundhog Day.

"Watch that last step, it's a doooooozie!"

I especially like one of the last replays of the day when Bill Murray is telling Ned he has REALLY missed him and wanted Ned to take the day off so they could be together. :rotfl:

That's ok - it makes up for all the years of stepping over the stuff at the base of the stairs. It took me years to realize that it wasn't just a storage area - that she actually wanted me to take this stuff up the stairs! :rotfl:

You just enlightened me............maybe this is why my DH was so adamant about getting a ranch house!

Yes! One of the grandfathers! The other one is more like me (i.e. laughing at something inappropriate in a chuch pew or something with the wife swatting me to knock it off!!!)

I think that one's name is Frank. That's sort of like me too. I was in a wedding once and another bridesmaid and I were goofing off standing up there and then we started laughing uncontrollably. I don't think the bride was too pleased about that.

"Oh Frank, she's gotten her ^%$#*^%! And they're so perky!"

Nikki-

I'm thinking about you. At least he is in good hands right now and hopefully they can figure out what is going on. How long has he been on dialysis? That's got to be so rough. My DH was very ill 7 years ago and had to have 7 treatments similar to dialysis in a 9 day period. It was very hard for him. I can't imagine having to do it on a continuing basis.

"better get my magnifying glass"

Well based on your most recent update that whole reference doesn't make a helluva lotta sense now does it? :rotfl:

Hats off to them... I certainly would not have wanted to be outside working today.

Today was a pretty good day - Blackberry email service was down!!! I'm sure that upsets some people, but on a busy Monday I was quite thrilled!
