Hi everyone! Long day.... Been on the go since 6:30AM! Tim did well today - he swam 4 events and had 3 personal bests... This was a home meet so parents have to work a certain number of shifts... I took Tim home after his events and came back and worked our other shift so tomorrow we can just watch him swim....

Went out to dinner tonight & then took everyone out for ice cream - a favorite wintertime treat, eh?!

Sounds like Tim did great!!

I just watched American Gangster- it was really good!! Denzel Washington and Russell Crowe played really good parts- my DH also said it was a true story.

Knock on wood ok. Her and Hanna both have wicked coughs and Bruce has a terrible sinus infection.......!!!!!!!!! Sick, husband can I scream now or wait till later.!!!!!!!!

I think we are going to just hang out all day at SSR. We do not have any ADR's for that day. Plan on haning out by the pool an celebrating the 4th @ SSR!!!!!!!!! Let's plan to hook up???????????

Yes that sounds great. Good chance for the kids to meet. I plan to hang out at SSR and DTD on the 4th. AKV is beautiful but it just doesn't have that 4th of July feel to it if you know what I mean

Awesome, the kids will love it. Then we can meet and have a drink too!!!LOL!!!!! As, it gets closer we can plan something definate!!!!!!!

He really is not complaining so I should not say that in the 14 years that we have been married he has only ever taken one sick day and that is it. Even, that took a lot of convinving!!!!!!! THe dr. had to order him not to work.

Yeah, the only time my DH called in was when he was laying on the bathroom floor with the flu, couldn't leave the bathroom!! LOL He's called in a few times when Jordan was sick, he can be more flexible with his time at work, I can't.

Dave is total opposite. He never says anything about being sick and I only figure it out after he's crawling in bed super early. When he had Guillane Barre, he didn't say anything to me about it until 2 weeks after it started. Heck, I didn't even know anything was wrong now until I saw the note on the refrigerator that he had a doctor's appt., and now he's looking at surgery! Silly man. Can you tell he doesn't talk much?

My dad called me with really shocking news last night. I thought he was calling to say my grandma had died, but he was calling to say one of my cousin's husbands had a massive heart attack yesterday and died. He was younger than me. You don't expect a 32'ish guy to die from a heart attack. It's all so terrible. Their story was already sad because they've been trying for years to have kids, and couldn't. They would have been such wonderful parents too. I have little contact with my dad's family, but this is my favorite cousin, so I think I should go to the service. My dad's family has fallen in to that category that I only see them at weddings (well, I miss most of the weddings) and funerals.
