Yep, we're hopeless over here when it snows Robin. We only had about 2 - 3 inches overnight, and I really hope it melts soon, I hate it

We're the same in Virginia... bad part is last week they closed the schools south of us the nite before due to all of the snow hype. They woke up the next morning with no snow at all! The kids were upset they didn't close their schools!

Hello my DWDQs....
Im in real need for some prayers from you all!

MY Grandaughter... My little lovely Rita, is in the hosp. with RSV...(Respiratory Syncytial Virus (RSV) Infection ), and not in good shape..
she's only 2 1/2.Poor thing...
I havent gotten a chance to see her yet, as I have been babysitting the others..But she is on oxy. and has IVs
We are waiting for the doc to come in today, to see what they can do for her and what the prognosis is.

It is highy contagious, and Kolbe has been sick too...So we are also worried that he will get it too..He is only about 6 Months.. So far he seems OK tho...

So thoughts and prayers PLEASE...

I'm sorry to hear your little babies are going thru this! After everything last month, I'm truly feeling so bad for her! She is sooo cute! I hope she feels better very soon!!

Well the doc came and her fever was down and her ox was a LITTLE better..
Anyway he said he thinks she will be OK and should be alot better in a day or 2, and if so ..She will be able to go home...
Mike went to see her on his lunch and said she was sleeping..So I think thats a good sign too!

Ill keep you all posted..after I hear tomorrow...

About the snow Robin, it looks like we have about the same as you do...maybe a little more ..but not much...Its not the snow thats getting to me as much as the COLD is .....I am getting soooo SICK of it...

Im off to find something for dinner...

I agree, it's not so much the snow as the cold that gets to you

When the sun shines it looks beautiful but it can still be so bitterly cold out that you can't stand it.

Oh, well, I am noticing that it's starting to stay light a bit longer at night, so maybe there is hope yet for better days ahead

OK...I just got a call from my DDIL,
Rita, is on the mend.. ...They took her off the oxy. and she is breathing well on her own...her temp is down to almost normal....and she is drinking( which is something they could not get her to do the other day, hence the IV...)
So even without the doc being in this morning yet to release her the nurses are very optimistic..that she will be going home today...BUT it has to come from the doc...BUT..Its looking really good...

NOW Im on the run, as Im running late....

I hope Rita gets to go home today. It's very hard to have a child in the hospital.

It is above freezing and I can literally see the snowpiles getting smaller and smaller.

It's still very cold over here, and we've bits and pieces of snow too

We didn't get up to too much this weekend. Saturday evening Paul & I went to Birmingham, where we had a nice meal and stayed over at a hotel. We had a lovely time

We haven't got any plans for this week. There's more snow due

Betsy, I'm glad to see there has been some good news floating around about little Miss Rita! She has been on the prayer list with our church, after church on Sunday... alot of people came up to me asking if I had heard anything. They'll be glad to know she's better!

Robin, Wowee!! The kids would be thrilled to see snow, especially that much! I don't think we'll see any this year, which is fine with me. It's suppose to get up in the 70's tommorrow and Wednesday

Mandy, Can you forward me your email? I'll send the photopass right away to ya! Please don't pay attention to how terrible I look in the pics, I feel like the pics make me look like I need a "WIDE LOAD" sign on my backside!

It's great to see that CW looked so well, after being poorly. The cruise obviously did him some good

Thanks! That's DM & DD with us! As the girls will see, Chad wasn't as thrilled to be hanging out with Mom as he was with them.

Both Chad & Carolin are still talking about how much fun they had, they keep saying it's their best vacation ever!
