7pm mco uber availibility?

Hello
Will be arriving on a Sunday around 7pm and am planning to take an Uber (for the first time) to a rental villa in Davenport. Any insight if I will have any issues with availability if I booked it as soon as I land. Also where is the pick up point for Ubers at MCO Thanks

i would wait until you are ready to go to the curb. If you order when you land, they could be at the curb before you and they can’t wait.

Definitely don't book as soon as you land. Uber can charge a cancellation fee if your driver waits more than 5 minutes at your pick up location and you aren't there. I can't imagine that you could get all the way through the airport in less than 5 minutes. Remember, at MCO you have to take the little monorail to get from the gate area to the Ground Transportation & Baggage Claim area.

Definitely don’t request a ride until you have your bags and are ready to go. There are always plenty of drivers waiting in the holding lot.

There are always Ubers/Lyfts available at all times to day, especially at MCO.. However, DO NOT request it until you have retrieved all of your bags from baggage claim. If you request your ride too early the driver will not be able to wait for you and you will be charged a no-show fee..

Don't book a rideshare until you are ready to get into the car. They won't wait too long before cancelling your ride.
