If I rope drop and go straight to 7dmt which route is faster going straight through the castle or turning right before and crossing through mad tea attraction? Did someone have done this?

Go to the right. You have to follow a CM so no running.

If allowed, I would say straight through the castle would be a little quicker because the other way you are backtracking e/w a little.

I vote via the Tea Cups

if you go through the castle you're in with the Anna and Elsa mob. The CMs route you around the Carousel and then you have to get out of that group and over to the Mine train.

if you go via the Tea Cups you'll be without a lot of the crowd and from what I've read that is the way the line goes (we missed the opening by a week) so you'll be set to hop right into the line that should be flowing into the attraction.

I will politely disagree. Going via the teacups should be the more direct route, and avoids the A&E crowd. :goodvibes

Definitely. The line of CMs going this route walks all the way to the 7DMT standby line. We were in the front of the group, and in the first 10 people to get in the line. When we got off the ride, the standby line was already insanely long, and the posted wait was 90 minutes.

When we were there 2 weeks ago, CMs came out and explained what was going on with rope drop (the walking behind the rope, no running, trying to pass CMs, etc) they actually recommended going to the right instead of through the castle for 7DMT, to avoid the A&E crowds. We didn't do either (we enjoyed the relatively empty tomorrowland, adventureland, and frontierland at RD) but from what people were saying that was definitely the way they had the most success! :thumbsup2
