7544 Magic?

Anyone have this room? We are travelling with an eight year old and a 19 month old. Will there be enough space in the stateroom to accomodate the crib my TA ordered? Any other info would be greatly appreciated.

7544 is a Category 5 on the starboard (right) side of the ship. It has a transparent verandah railing, so you will have an unobstructed view of the ocean. Although this room appears to open directly to the midships elevator lobby, many cruisers have testified that you won't be bothered by noise from the elevator lobby. Plus, you'll have convenient access to just about anyplace onboard. There is no connecting door to an adjacent room, so you probably won't hear your neighbors. People who've had a crib in these rooms said they had plenty of room for it.

I bet you'll love your room! We had 7538 and our friends had 7540 just a couple of weeks ago, and we were very happy with the rooms and the location. We used the kids' club and it was so easy to pop down the stairs to drop off/pick up the kids. We enjoyed being on the verandah in docking, leaving ports, looking at ocean, etc. You will be happy with it.

WendyK, we stayed in 7044 last June (same location as 7544 but on the port side) and loved it. Although on the diagram it looks like it opens into the elevator area, our open door faced a blank wall. I assume yours would be the same. We were tucked around the corner from the elevator area and didn't have any noise issues at all, yet we were close enough to the stairs/elevator to make it convenient. We loved the location!
