Sorry y'all weren't having the best afternoon!

I do like the pictures from Adventureland! It looks really cool!

I'm sorry...I'm playing catch up yet again.

I didn't know Stich had a girlfriend (probably because I pay no attention to Stitch :lmao::lmao:).

I love the balloons...very different from what we see here. The picture of the ceiling in the glass shop is gorgeous.

The Disney snow characters are very cute, and you got some great pictures during the Christmas Calvacade.

I'm sorry you and your mom were having a bad day with all the rudeness and not so magical feeling. But you got some great shots of the different lands at the park.

It picked up again. I can't remember when or how though :goodvibes

I loved looking at Adventureland and Frontierland because both were similar to Florida yet completely different as well and Frontierland in particular seemed alot bigger than WDW maybe that was just my imagination playing tricks though.

I'm sorry...I'm playing catch up yet again.
No worries :)

I didn't know Stich had a girlfriend (probably because I pay no attention to Stitch :lmao::lmao:).
There's a whole pile of other "experiments" I know there was a Stitch movie and that had some of the others but I think the rest come from a Disney Channel cartoon series of Stitch or something I dunno.

I love the balloons...very different from what we see here. The picture of the ceiling in the glass shop is gorgeous.
I thought it was weird the way there was no Balloon seller they were just attached to a pole outside some shops and outdoor stalls.

The Disney snow characters are very cute, and you got some great pictures during the Christmas Calvacade.
Those Snow Characters were cute. I loved the Calvacade it was like a mini version of the parade at MVMCP

I'm sorry you and your mom were having a bad day with all the rudeness and not so magical feeling. But you got some great shots of the different lands at the park.
We were so sick of the rudeness by the time it came to the last day we were more than ready to go home and we have never felt that way in Disney before. We were in Paris before with the dancers years ago and I don't remember it being that rude back then either so I think maybe we were just there on a bad few days or something :confused3 the worst is still to come with the rudeness though.:sad2:

Wow, you wanted to leave a Disney park??? :confused3

That really must have been an awful feeling. I'm sorry you had to go through that. I can understand how being tired and dealing with bad attitudes can do that to you. It really is a shame though that you weren't finding any magic in a Disney park. :sad2:

YUM-O wish I had a piece right now!

Me to :)

It was really disappointing but it was really just the rudeness. We enjoyed the break and like the shows were amazing and we enjoyed the rides but it just wasn't WDW. I walk into Magic Kingdom and nearly burst with happiness when I see that castle I just wasn't feeling it there. So only WDW in future :) :goodvibes

Happy March y'all!

Day 4, part 3:

So when I left you we were wandering around Frontierland we were actually headed for a boat ride. In Paris its called Molly Brown. Also its a little different in Paris because Big Thunder Mountain is actually on its own island so you get on the train at Frontierland but then the ride starts with the train going under water and you come up on the Big Thunder Mountain Island. So Molly Brown travels on the lake all around Big Thunder Mountain Island

The Haunted Mansion:
SAM_4673_zpse451b6cc.jpg

There didnt seem to be as much commentary on the things you could see from Molly Brown either that or I just couldnt hear it very well but I know I thought the commentary in WDW was better:

When we got off the boat I spotted this:
SAM_4689_zps07ee7ced.jpg

Jack and Sally from Nightmare before Christmas were meeting on the other side of it and they had a proper queue. Momma asked if I wanted to get a photo with them I declined as I didnt want to wait that long. Instead we said farewell to Molly Brown and headed back the way we came:
SAM_4691_zpsfd2e5b86.jpg

It was also around here I was searching for Splash Mountain on the map because I wanted to take a picture and copped DLP doesn't have a Splash Mountain. I guess it's to cold there for Splash Mountain.
We were heading towards Fantasyland when I remembered we missed the Christmas village so after a short stroll we found Cottonwood Creek home of the Santa Village:
SAM_4700_zpsb7540174.jpg

The whole area was very cute. They had it done up with fake snow, snowmen, Christmas decorations and much to my delight characters in Christmas outfits with queues that were very short:
SAM_4701_zpsbb17d35f.jpg

I snapped this of Minnie before I copped there was a line for Minnie and went back to join the line. Im glad I snapped this picture though because when I went to join the line the CM said Minnie was going and not coming back for the rest of the day so I couldnt join the line:
SAM_4702_zps873d44ee.jpg

Around the corner from Minnie was the reindeer stable

Reindeer Pluto was meeting in the Stable

We got in another queue that was extremely long, it was for Santa. I didnt particularly want to meet Santa so I told Momma to go check was it Santa Mickey or just Santa. She came back that it was just Santa so we got out of the queue and headed back the way we came:
SAM_4714_zps1767bb0a.jpg

On our way out Eeyore had come out to meet people and there was nobody near him so I took many pictures both of and with Eeyore:
DSCF3500_zps655ceb38.jpg

After meeting a bunch of characters the silent treatment was forgotten. We checked the nearby restaurant the Cowboy Cookout for more characters. Cowboy Cookout is meant to be a character meal place or so I read online when we looked in there was no characters so we just kept going towards Fantasyland again.
SAM_4715_zps99ad9ebb.jpg

I loved the entrance to Adventureland:
SAM_4716_zps01b98fd2.jpg

Is it actually possible to pass a Disney Castle without taking pictures:
SAM_4718_zps6d67e8bf.jpg

SAM_4720_zps6b02eba3.jpg

We took a little side path to Fantasyland and spotted a hidden little shop with cute Snow White theming so we had to have a look:
SAM_4729_zps64f0b538.jpg

SAM_4732_zps30d687cc.jpg

In this shop I did another pin trade. This was a funny one though because everywhere I traded the CMs were examining the pins I gave them and I wasnt sure what exactly the were examining for because if it was scrappers they didnt know what they were looking for because some of them had scrappers (fakes) on their lanyards and this one was an example I traded for a Simba pin but when I traded I noticed the Simba pin was in terrible condition it was missing half its paint and just awful looking. Oh well. We went over to Peter Pan after that to try get fast pass tickets it was about 2 oclock at this stage and they had stopped giving out fast passes for the day. I was a little shocked with that but whatever we continued on through Fantasyland towards the last area of the park that needed exploring:
SAM_4736_zpsef81f805.jpg

Next up: I dont think you're supposed to do that!

Lovely update. I have to say the Haunted Mansion looks REALLY weird.

Minnie looked very sweet, but Eeyore looked absolutely adorable. I wish you would give us at least one picture of you with a character.

I like the little Snow White area...very cute.

It does look kinda strange esp when you get so used to looking at the one in WDW

I loved them. Eeyore was adorable. There's pics of me with him on my facebook :)

It was cute. I loved the little animals and the outside of the shop was done to make it look like the cottage.

Question has anyone been to Disneyland in California and if you have how long would it take to see the park... is there only one park and Disney Village there? What else is there to see of interest near the Disney park?

It is such a beautiful park, but they sure do things differently there.

At least you got some awesome pictures.

Thanks. I love some of the pics I got in Frontierland :)

It is nice if they would get rid of the rudeness it'd be excellent :)

We have been to Disneyland in CA. It has two parks. You would need at least 3 days. We spent a week there and loved going to both parks several times. The other park (not magic Kingdom) is kind of a cross between DHS and Epcot (Soarin) and other fun rides.. I know you don't do the rides, but just to give you an idea of what is there. They have a wonderful winery area with wines from the Napa Valley area and some great restaurants. It has been over 11 years since we were there so I am sure it has changed a lot.

Cool. I'm looking into trying to get some Disney in this year. Momma says no Florida or Paris though. I think it might work out to expensive with flights though :( Will keep researching and fingers crossed though :)

Day 4, part 4:

So when I left you we were wandering Fantasyland, again not going on any rides just taking in the sights.

We stopped by the Castle for some more pictures:
SAM_4745_zpsd3983aef.jpg

Then we headed for Discoveryland to explore this area:
SAM_4749_zps584267bb.jpg

Apparently we browsed one of the shops because I have pictures of it:
SAM_4752_zps039f01be.jpg

Space Mountain:
SAM_4753_zpsea099d5f.jpg

The Videopolis: I danced in there once upon a time. It was 2002 when we were there with the dancers and the stage in there was really really slippy so a few people fell. I think the funniest was one of the girls who got to the steps to leave the stage and went yes I didn't fall and then landed on her bottom:
SAM_4755_zpsbb336bf1.jpg

After that little blast from the past it's Wall-e and Eve:

SAM_4758_zps317d9099.jpg

I was tired and bored of walking so I suggested we get the train from Discoveryland back to Main Street. We would have walked quicker but we only really had two more things we wanted to do that day so we had time to wait. Eventually the train arrived:
SAM_4760_zps38c6b958.jpg

We both enjoyed sitting for a while and after a short journey we were back at the bottom of Main Street USA:
SAM_4763_zpsf32ee5af.jpg

After that we headed out of Disneyland and over towards the Walt Disney Studios:
SAM_4765_zpsaaca0312.jpg

In the Studios I was very surprised to find a bunch of characters in Christmas outfits. There was a proper queue to meet the main mouse but I decided not to queue and just snapped this:
SAM_4768_zps2877d441.jpg

Sleeping Beauty and Prince Philip were meeting but I missed getting a picture of them. However Santa Goofy was out as well and well Santa Goofy was mobbing and ignoring anyone over 3ft tall. There wasn't a large mob around him but no matter how often we tried to get a picture he turned his back on us and went to a child so then I was standing beside a lady and Momma was standing near Goofy and there was a small child near him. I called Goofy and Momma pointed in my direction and to my surprise he looked at me but he was rubbing his arm I didn't really think about it and just I snapped this:
SAM_4771_zpsed0751e6.jpg

It's a little cropped because there was a small child near him so I think he thought the child was with us and that's why he eventually posed. Once we finally got a picture of Goofy we headed through studio 1 and they had even put up more decorations in there:
SAM_4772_zps615e051f.jpg

We went over to check if the English version of Stitch Live was working. There was no queue so it didnt really look good but Momma asked a CM standing nearby and he said it was working but the English version had just started. We turned away and I was sad and obviously looked it because he called us back and brought us in a side door. We missed about 5 minutes of the pre-show but we saw the rest. It was like Turtle talk with Crush except with Stitch. It was very funny and lots of audience interaction and more with the adults than the children. I thought Stitch's accent sounded off. It didnt really sound like Stitch but I loved it anyway just because it was Stitch. After seeing Stitch we headed back towards the Frontlot but first if Mickey Mouse was out at the Frontlot who was where he was meeting yesterday. Momma waited on a bench and I went to check... It was Daisy:
SAM_4775_zps77c3667d.jpg

I didn't queue I just snapped a few pics of her but while I was there a little girl went up but she was in her pushchair and being a little grumpy. She wouldn't get out of the pushchair for a picture and Daisy did all she could to encourage her but to no luck lol. After that I went to get Momma and we headed back to the Frontlot for a few more pictures:
SAM_4778_zpse7070150.jpg

Chip and Dale had come out and were mobbing:
SAM_4781_zps7b12ce4b.jpg

SAM_4782_zps1a39713b.jpg

After that we said farewell to The Walt Disney Studios. I need gates like these:
SAM_4785_zps2f72fab4.jpg

As we were walking out I was talking to Momma about all the characters we had just seen and commented about how Goofy was rubbing his arm when he turned towards me and Momma went yeah that's because I pinched him. I was like WHAT? I dont think you're supposed to do that and she was like yeah well I was sick of him ignoring you so I got his attention. I loled alot at that. :rotfl: Even now Momma is looking out for her little girl.

Next up: Christmas tree lighting

OMG! Your Mom pinched him, How funny is that? She had to be sure her baby got her picture! :rotfl:

I'm glad you were able to recover from the anti-Disney attitude and salvage the day at the parks. At least you got to see a lot of characters... even if they didn't all want to be very cooperative. The fact that your momma pinched Goofy is hilarious! :rotfl2::lmao::rotfl:

I know I thought that was so funny when she said that. I saw him kinda look to the side and she had moved so it didn't look like it was her and then he was rubbing his elbow and I thought it was odd but he posed after so I didn't think much more about it then.

Aw we get over things like that pretty quickly when there's Disney about :goodvibes We did end up seeing alot of characters that day and I loved the Christmas outfits. Momma was just sick of the rudeness to so took matters into her own hands :rotfl:

:lmao::lmao::lmao::lmao: Mom pinched Goofy. I absolutely love it. I can tell you from your report that I have no desire to ever go to that park. Seriously those people all need a lesson in customer service and how to act at a Disney establishment.

Love the pictures you did get. And I'm glad you got to see most of the Stitch show. :)
