when we finally got into the ride, I started panicking a little thinking "Holy cow, what have I done, my daugther is about to die!" I quickly coached Audrey to hold on to the restraint and wwooossshhh the ride began. The whole time I could think of nothing except Audrey's small body slipping out from under the restraint and falling to her death on an inversion. QUOTE]
Oh my goodness, you sound just like me!!! My son, who is now 13, started riding this ride the first year it opened. I really had no idea what to expect, it took off so fast, and was so intense that I was worried that my son would be next to me scared to death. With all the strength of a Mother fearing for their child's life, I wrenched my head from the back of the seat to try and look over at my son, I don't know how I did it, or how I could see him, but when I finally got a look at him, he was laughing and smiling! As soon as we got off, he talked his dad into going on it with him. For myself, I had to sit down and recuperate for awhile!
