Hey all -

Super excited to be heading to the world May 14-21 with my DW, DMom, DDad, D-sister and her husband, my other D-sister and her husband and their 2 year old boy, and my other younger sister. We're staying at Beach Club.

We're all adults except my 2 yeard old nephew but we still love Disney World - been there many times. We're grown up kids! This is the first trip for my wife and one of my brother-in-laws and the first trip for our huge family now!

Since we have been there many times, we've tried many restaurants - but there are of course several restaurants we havent tried yet. Our dining plan usually is to keep it low key for breakfast and lunch (just sort of snack around) and then FEAST at dinner!!

I'm looking for your opinions based on this hypothetical: Where would you go eat each night of a 7 day trip in WDW? Please include at least one restaurant from MK, Studios, and Epcot!

Thanks! I'm getting hungry writing about this . . .

Well...I'll just tell you where we are dining...

MK: Crystal Palace lunch, CRT lunch, LTT dinner
Epcot: Le Cellier dinner, Coral Reef lunch
MGM: Sci-Fi lunch, 50s Prime time (maybe) or Mama Melrose FP

Maybe Spoodles dinner

Please include at least one restaurant from MK, Studios, and Epcot!
I haven't eaten at all the restaurants at WDW, but I'm working on it. Here's what I would recommend so far ....

Magic Kingdom - Tony’s Town Square Restaurant
Epcot - Future World - Coral Reef
Epcot - World Showcase - Tie between San Angel Inn and Le Cellier
Disney MGM Studios - Hollywood Brown Derby

Animal Kingdom - If the new restaurant has opened when you visit, you might want to try it. Otherwise, the Rainforest Cafe is probably your best bet.

In the Resorts - California Grill at the Contemporary
Downtown Disney - House of Blues

Two spots to avoid at all costs: At the Studios, the Sci-Fi, and at Downtown Disney, the Earl of Sandwich. Both are way below par for WDW.

Enjoy.

Here's my thoughts:

1) Magic Kingdom:

Crystal Palace is our favorite. The buffet is large and well staffed. I am super picky about buffets but this one was exceptional. There were so many things to choose from which is nice when you have a large group. You know that everybody will find something they like.

2) Epcot:

LeCellier is wonderful. Everybody in our party ordered something different so that we could get a little taste of everything. A very close second is Garden Grill.

3) Animal Kingdom:

Since there are no table service meals except for Rainforest Cafe (which we love), I would have to choose Flame Tree BBQ. Everything on the menu is delicious. If you choose to eat at the Rainforest Cafe, order the appetizer plate as an entree. It has fried calamari, egg rolls, chicken strips and blue crab dip with chips. Also, don't pass up the Volcano dessert.

4) MGM Studios:

Many may disagree with me, but we really enjoy the Sci-Fi. The food has always been good and the atmosphere is great. Try to BLT soup. I love it!

5) Fort Wilderness:

Since you guys are all a bunch of kids (just like our family), I think you would enjoy the Hoop Dee Doo Review. The food is simple but good....bbq ribs, fried chicken, corn on the cob, baked beads, bread, salad and strawberry shortcake.

6) Caribbean Beach Resort:

We ate at Shutters. We tried several things on the menu and liked them all. Even our picky 9 year old son found something he liked.

Hope this helps with your decision making process. Have a safe and fun trip and eat lots of good food! Lisa

Boardwalk area= Flying Fish
Epcot- Bistro de Paris
Both are top shelf resturants for dinner.
Enjoy your trip

We liked and are returning to Crystal Palace (dinner), Chef Mickey's (dinner), Kona, 'Ohana, and Mama Melrose (Fantasmic package). Boma is also good but somewhat of a hassle to unless you're staying at the AKL.

MK area: Kona, California Grill
Epcot: Le Cellier
MGM: Brown Derby or hop boat to Boardwalk - Spoodles or Flying Fish
AK area: Hop bus to AKL for Boma or Jiko

Okay well...here's 7 out of our list that we love...

First night- Chef Mickey's at Contemporary...we always have start our vacation there
2- The Coral Reef at Epcot
3- Tony's Town Square at MK...we always have to end our vacation there
4- Mama Melrose's at MGM
5- Whispering Canyon Cafe at WL
6- Spirit of Aloha Luau at the Poly
7- 1900 Park Fare at the GF
