Just back from our trip. 7 nights at the Poly.
Before I go into details, I'll summarize 3 things the good, the bad, and the ugly.
The Good:
Aqua Seas Tour at Epcot. This was probably the highlight of the trip. Although only 3 of the 5 of us actually swam. It was cool having 2 people in the viewing area watching us.
The Bad:
The weather. We were there for 4 days before we saw any hint of the sun.
The Ugly:
I lost our camera on day 6 on the Tower of terror ride. It flew out of my pocket on the first drop and I never even saw where it went.

We arrived at the poly via Magical Express around noon. I told the bell captain that I had 5 people checking in Club Level. He called a cart and we packed 5 adults into 2 seats for our ride to the Hawaii longhouse. Our rooms were ready and we were given keys to our rooms and told to stop back to one of the concierges when we felt like officially checking in. Our rooms were adjoining on the first floor. The place is well maintained for a 40 year old building, but it is a 40 year old building. The silver flange around the door knob on the bathroom door was never fixed for our entire trip. There was a shower curtain ring missing the entire trip and rest were dirty and not completely fastened. There were 2 small pieces of paper on the base of the wall in the bathroom for our entire trip. I never mentioned it to anyone but my party until now. Definitely not up to my idea of deluxe accomodations, although housekeeping was still tipped every day. The daily turn down service was nice. Our stuffed animals were always arranged nicely on the bed with chocolates. Our towel mickey was never touched or changed all week. I disassembled it our last morning.
We checked in with the concierge. I can't say enough about these people, every one of them was a pleasure to deal with and truly made me feel at home in the building. We got a quick lunch at Capt. Cook's and went to MK. We took the water taxi and took in the sights on the way. We hit a few rides and went back to The Spirit of Aloha Luau. We had reservations for the 8pm show, category 1 seating. The show was ok when they did the traditional dances. We weren't too crazy about the food but hey, we are at the POLY! life is good.

Day 2 we had 6pm reservations at Cape May Cafe. We planned on having something quick at the lounge and then hit epcot for lunch. We had some pastries and coffee. I put some milk and 1 equal in a cup, then I hit #5 (espresso) 4 times to fill the cup. I really didn't have a problem with the coffee anywhere in Disney although I drank more assorted fruit juices (with and without alcohol) than at any other time in my life. Soarin was very cool. I didn't like it as much the second time, but my wife said that she liked it better the second time. We decided to go to Germany for lunch because we wanted some brats-n-beer to get us through the afternoon. On our way back towards innovations we encoutered Chip and Dale. My son had his guide to the magic for kids book for passport stamps and auto graphs. Dale wrote that he had a "really big autograph book". It was funny.
After Germany we meandered around a bit. Bought some wine and perfume in Italy. Went on the ride in Mexico. We did a couple of Kim Possible missions, which are really cool. Went on test track which was good also, but it was my least favorite wait for the trip. We rarely waited more than a few minutes for a ride all trip except for test track. We walked to Cape May Cafe and filled up on seafood and margaritas . Waddled back towards monorail. Spaceship Earth was walk on, so we did. Then headed back to Poly for the night.
