7 mos for 2Br at OKW in March?

I'm planning a trip right now with some friends to head to WDW near the end of March 2006. We want to get a 2bdr at OKW, but my home resort is SSR. I saw from the points chart that all of March is Magic time for that resort. Does anyone know if I would have a hard time getting a 2bdr at OKW during that time?

Also, has anyone been there during the end of March (19th - 23rd)? How is the weather and the crowds? It looks like I would be missing the spring break/easter holiday crowd that year.

I have been every year since 2000 and the weather has been OK for the most part...sometimes its low 80's in the day but this year some days were alot cooler in the 50-60. NoW for the SPRING BREAK part.....HA Yeh Spring break in the north is around EASTER BUT not in the South or I think Canada and alot of people from Europe......they get off in MARCH. That is why the points are more. They have loads of CHEERLEADING STUFF!!!!!! losts of teenage girls and parents at the parks and they close down Indiana Jones theather on a Saturday during that time to run some of the SHOW or CONTEST????? Thats why in the guide books if you look they say SPRING BREAK in March. When we first went (coming from the North) I didn't know what they were talking about. But all said we still go.....anything to get away from the north(we stupidly moved form LI to NH....regret it every day miss NY awfully) Hope this helps. It's still spring break time for a lot of people even though it's not Easter next year. Even though I think you will get what you want without a problem, you should still make reservations at your home resort and then switch them when the 7 month window opens. That way, even if you can't get something, you will have your original reservation at SSR.

I agree. I dont think there will be a problem, but reserve you home resort now, and switch to OKW at the 7 month window.

I've never had a problem booking a 2 bedroom villa at OKW at the 7 month window.

Just booked a 2BR at OKW this year in January for the 3rd week in March-no problem.

Wow, just two months out! That was great, Jade! That would have been the week before Easter this year.

Thanks for the tips. I am going to book SSR now and then switch to OKW at the 7 month mark. And from what you all have said, I am definitely optimistic.

Jade, we will be going the third week in March next year. How was the weather for you this year?
