7 months NYE?

Wondering what my chances might be at getting 1 BR BWV (any view) or BCV at the 7 month mark for 12/27/12-01/05/13? Any guesses would be great. TIA

Not very good, New Years Eve would be the big problem. At BWV boardwalk view 1 bedrooms are already sold out for 12/30, 12/31, 1/1. Standard and pool/garden are currently available (I'm surprised about standard). Studios are soldout for all 3 views.

Best chance would be BWV pool/garden view since you pay the same amount of points as a boardwalk view.

As of yesterday, there were no longer any rooms available for NYE at BWV. But then today they are starting to show some openings again for pool and garden preferred view rooms either indicating the new on- line system has a problem or those booking exactly 11 months out for NYE are quickly changing their plans.

I would suggest making a reservation for your NYE dates at your home resort and then try to get your dates at either BWV or BCV at the seven month window. Availability will probably be between slim and none so you will have to wait-list for the dates you want. For NYE 2010 we wait-listed for an Epcot resort studio - MS suggested BWV garden view and BCV - and we were able to get the studio at BCV about 2 months out.

We had really good luck with the wait-list process on that trip - an AKV Value 1 bedroom for Christmas day to fill out an existing reservation and a BCV studio for NYE ! It was so nice to see the fireworks at midnight and be in our room by 12:30.
