7 month window?????

What would my 7 month window be for Nov 29-Dec 2nd?? I am terrible at figuring these things out.

I believe to make a reservation, not calling day-be-day, you would call on May 2 (7 month from time of check out).

Since I have not ever made a ressie by calling day-by-day, I'll let others do the 'splaining!

Thanks for the quick response. That sounds right to me. So I guess if I was calling day by day I could start April 28th??

Day by Day would start April 30 because the night of November 29 would checkout on November 30. April 30 is a Sunday, so you would have to wait until May 1.

You should download Caskbill shareware with the DVC calender. You can plug in a trip and it gives you the 11 and 7 month windows. Plus tracks your points........Cut offs and such

AND...the software adjusts both windows and banking deadlines for times when MS is closed (holidays and weekends). Really makes those questions painless. Great software.

Here's a cropped version of the vacation plan report as created by the DVC-Planner program. I just put in OKW 1-b/r but you could have selected any resort. (The points would change depending on the resort)

Assuming you're talking about 2006, it looks like for your 4-day trip, the first day you can call at the 7-month window is May 1st. (This is correct since April 30th is a Sunday)

Actually, it's freeware, not shareware. Shareware you have to pay for, freeware is just that...free.
