is the office open on Sunday ? and if not do I phone before the weekend or on the Monday
only 10 more days to wait

we are planning on trying to get the BCV , for the 16th - 25th Oct . I know it's is F&W
anyone know whats the availablity is like
we have enough points for a 1 bedroom but will be happy enough with a studio

We are staying at BCV Sept 25-Oct 7th - I just went through what you are getting ready to do!

First of all, if your check in day is Oct 16th, then you can't call until March 17th to book the night of the 16th. Example: I had to call today (3.07.08) to book our last night of the 6th of Oct, checking out on Oct 7th.

We booked studios - I had to book three studios to get various family members taken care of. That said, I called day by day and had great success (I think) in getting our ressies - for 3 studios at BCV!!

The only days I had problems with were Sundays - Sept 28th was not available when I called, so we waitlisted for two studios. The waitlist came through for both on Oct. 1st.

I called yesterday to book two more studios (our trips are staggered between family members) and was able to get one. I had to waitlist for the other - so hoping it comes through. It was for the night of Oct 5th - again a Sunday.

So for your dates, the 19th may be a problem, but don't despair, just ask to be put on the waitlist ASAP. If you start with the 16th and call day by day, you should be good.

I know when I started calling in I would ask what the availability looked like for the rest of the dates I was looking to book. They told me it was low, but I should be ok as long as I called in first thing every A.M. They did tell me the night of Oct 5th was really low - and I got one room, but not the 2nd.

But I'm very pleased with what we've gotten so far, so if I have to pay for a cash discount room that one night, I'll be ok!

Member Services is open 7 days a week now from 9am-5:30pm (? - pretty sure) except for holidays. Call when they open at 9am for your best chance. You can also ask the CM when you make you reservation for the first night - 'How do the rest my the dates look for availabilty?' (even though you can't book them until you call back each day, you'll have a better idea of what's available) Good luck!
