7 month window planning?

Today is 7 months from the day we check in for our trip where we are booked at our home resort.

If I call today, can I switch our reservation for the WHOLE reservation or do I have to wait until the day I'd check out to get the entire stay switched?

This is my first time trying to get into a different resort!

At this point you could book day by day but to do the full week it would be the 7 month mark from your check out date.....

I don't want to call day by day, I won't be home the next couple mornings to do so and the last two times I called member services, I was on hold for more than 20 minutes! Ick....

I'm going to be switching to Old Key West, which I'm told I probably won't have a problem getting either...

If today is 7 months from your check-in day, you can't do anything today even if you were booking day by day. You can call 7/11 months from check OUT not check IN. So if you were booking day by day, you would make your first call tomorrow, 7 months from the check out day of your first night.
