7 Month Window Approaching!

I know a lot of you are probably in the same boat as me. I am currently booked at my home resort in the beg. of Dec., but am hoping to switch to a studio at any of the following: VWL, BCV or BWV. I know getting VWL is HIGHLY unlikey. I would LOVE to try any of the three resorts since I have never stayed at any of them. I know that all of them are booked for the time that I will be there. My question is this....should I waitlist???? If I do waitlist, should I do a day by day waitlist or waitlist for the entire vacation?
My DH does not want to switch resorts mid-trip, but are our chances
really decreased by doing an entire vacation waitlist?

I would definitely call day by day for this time of year. From what I've read, there's almost zero chance of getting VWL if you wait to waitlist the whole week.
