7 month window add on

Hello,

We are staying at VGF in November. A few months ago we booked a 5 night stay. We want to stay 6 nights but only had enough points for 5.

Since we are approaching the 7 month window we are planning on adding the 6th night using our BLT points.

Since on line reservations open at 8 am and MS opens at 9 am I was planning on booking the room on line at 8 am. If I do this can I then call MS and have them link the reservations?

What other options do I have?

Make the reservation online then through the member website click on help & contact, then the envelope icon. Provide MS the 2 reservations and request that they modify the original reservation adding the additional date.

You will get a email conformation in a couple of days. No reason to call and wait on hold plus you get a written record of the transaction.

You can call or send them a message requesting the link using the contact form on the dvcmember site. I have used the site to set up a link in my reservations many times without any problems.

We are so excited about our upcoming vacation we decided to add a 7th night to the end of our trip.

The dates that we want are Nov 16 for 7 nights. We currently have Nov 17 for 5 nights booked. I know that we can book the night of the 16th tomorrow but would we have to wait 7 more days to book the last night?

What if I called MS tomorrow and cancelled the 5 nights that we have and booked the 7 night trip?

Sorry if I've got it wrong. You've got 5 nights booked with VGF points starting 11/17, want to got to 7 nights starting 11/16 combining BLT points. You'd only be able to book the full 7 nights tomorrow if there's availability for all those nights. If it's all available at 8am, I would cancel the 5 nights, and rebook the 7n online. Then you can decide how many BLT points to use and how many VGF points.

If you have a studio, most likely some days are gone. If 11/17 is gone, you'd only be able to book 11/16 with BLT points. You'd want to keep the 11/17 res for 5 nights and wait to book the 7th night.
