7 month re-booking

Hello!
It's been 2 years since I last booked and I feel like I always have to re-learn things! Anyway, at 11 months we booked our home to be safe and are now trying to switch out as availability opens. I just managed to snag one night i needed. I could have sworn it used to ask if I wanted to replace an existing night with the new one? Is it only waitlist that asks that? If so, how do I replace the old night with the new one? for example- we have nov. 2-10 booked at home resort and i just grabbed the night of nov 3 at a new one. I'm wanting to replace that night so I can have the points put back in to keep trying for the rest of the nights. What do I do? I really hope i'm making sense! thank you for any help!!

I suggest calling MS. Because you booked a night not at the beginning or end of stay, it is a little complex.

Only the waitlist asks if you are replacing another reservation.

The problem I see right now is that your other reservation is November 2nd to November 10th. You can modify an existing reservation by dropping days at the beginning and end. But, since you made the original one at the 11th month window, I don't think they can cancel the night of the 3rd without cancelling the night of the 2nd as well. Now, once you find the night of the 2nd where you want it, then you can adjust your current reservation. But, I think you will only be able to do it in blocks since any other way would be splitting your original reservation into multiple reservations, something I don't think is possible.
