I just priced the new pkg for my dates in September. For DH, myself, DD1, and DD11, it would be 1836.86 for 10 nights at ASMo. This price includes a couple of extra goodies, like a lanyard, luggage tags, and a choice gift (like an Epcot tile or some other choices). As it stands now, I have a room only ressie on hold for ASMo for 863. DH and I already have APs that were activated last Oct. We would only need to buy a pass for DD11, which will cost about 403 (adult AP). So, the pkg would cost about 570 more than using our APs. The upside of the pkg is that our passes would include entrance to DQ, the water parks, and PI, as well as the free gifts. I honestly was not thrilled with DQ, do not like water parks, and don't think we would spend much time at PI with the kids. If we went with the pkg, though, I'm sure DD11 would have a ball with the extras, so we would make at least one visit to DQ, and one water park. I would like to go to PI, but not sure how much there is to do with kids, especially after a full day in the sun. I haven't factored in the savings if we got an AP discount on the room, because there were none last Sept, but that would potentially make going with the APs 100-225 less. DD11 hasn't been to WDW in about 4-5 years, so I'm thinking she would have enough to absorb with just the 4 major parks if we just stuck with the APs. DH couldn't care either way- he wants it to be fun for everyone, and doesn't feel the need to cut corners regardless. Please give me your opinions-which would you do? Thanks!
