I believe you can call either. Tell them you are a new Disney Visa cardholder and would like to book using code ZXRA. (Don't ask them if you qualify, just tell them you do )

I would price your trip before you call, so when they give you the total, you know right away if you got the 7/4 deal - or something else!

I am now working up the cost comparisons. We are currently booked at the Swan under the Government rate. I am trying to see if I can get into the Boardwalk or the Beach Club for not a whole lot more.

I think I have got enough info for now. I'll call WDTC tonight and see what I can get. First thing I need to do is activate the cards...

I'll let you know what I come up with. I first need to do the number crunching to see what the diffeence is between my Government Rate at the Swan and the others.

I found it doing a search on google and it matched what a dreamsunlimited rep emailed me.

I just called to activate my new Visa. He said it is only for customers who were direct mailed who apply by Mar 31st.

I think I was mailed something a few months ago, but like all visa offers, it ended up in the trash in many pieces.

I just go off the phone with CRO also.

If you have specific questions, just ask, as I have completed the whole process now. I would be happy to help you.

If you have not applied yet, I'm afraid you might have missed the offer. Also, when I applied, the Bank One rep knew nothing about the offer.

Only when I activated my card(diff phone #) did the rep verify my name on a list.

You can still get the card and use the room only discount code which is comparable to the AP discount code.

I was afraid of that (missing the deadline). I'm hoping they will extend that offer, but my dilemma is - do I go ahead and apply for the visa or do I wait and see if they extend it? My fear is that they only extend the offer to those that don't currently hold a visa and that's why I think I should wait.

Thanks to DIS Boards for tipping me to the 7 for 4 deal a few weeks ago!

Thanks to Denman007 for giving me the rundown on the deal!

I just got off the phone with WDTC. I was able to get the 7 for 4 deal. Bad news was that my first (Beach Club) and second choices (Yaght Club) resorts were not available. Got the Boardwalk (water view) for 10 nights (7 for 4 plus 3 add ons) for 4179.46! I got the $100 in Disney Dollars and the other usual stuff...

Dates arre 7/12 - 7/22. AKL & Poly were also available. Poly (Lagoon View) was only about $150 more for the stay. Man, that was tempting...

Ok, anyone have any tips for the Boardwalk?

After the Disney Dollars, it is a wash over what the Swan would have cost us. I will continue to check in weekly to see if the Beach Club opens up.

Anyone have any scoop when the best time to check for availability?

It was for new card holders that applied by March 31st and booked the vacation by April 31st and took it sometime between May and October. I think you had to get your card just within the last couple months.

Are you a NEW cardholder that applied between 2/1 and 3/31? If not, then the chance of you getting the deal are not so good.

You can also call cardmember services for Disney Visa and ask.
