A week from today we will be in the air right now flying "home"!!! We are finishing our costumes and will get tickets to Sept 14 MNSSHP when we check in. Does anyone know if we can still out DVC discount or are they just for pre-purchases?

To what seems like half this Board (plus a good friend who's not on the DisBoard but is also winging off next Thursday to DL and NY for a week in each) have a fantabulous time with no dramas, no illnesses, no mislaid luggage or undelivered parcels, happy happy kids/hubbies/partners/others and lots of pixie magic . i always double check the following:

- virtual or printed copies of all confirmations
- all passports and print outs of ESTA confirmations in my handbag/carry on etc
- all regular medicines packed
- reading glasses packed
- bank notified as to where/when i'm going
- turn off modem/wifi so it can't be used/hacked while i'm gone
- give emergency numbers to family/friends and copy of itinerary
- extra cash/credit in case i need to buy something i have forgotten
- adaptors
- extra batteries/SD cards for camera
- all electronic gear fully charged.

anything else i lose/forget i figure i can buy while over there..

You've spent all this money and all this time planning. And you'll be there. Just remember....you CAN attend more than one MNSSHP if your family likes it. Afterall, when are you likely to go back again?
(Even if it is the next year, it'll still be cheaper to do it now!)

just finished packing including clothesz for flight and carry on..all thats left to load is formal dresses/suit and DH's toiletries and good shoes.....

i'm exhausted....now having a tea and bickies, then off to finish house work before the muppets get home

Not bad at all!! LOve Scotland - and definitely want to go back there. Ireland is on my to-do list. I'll be very interesed to hear your plans

I'm already thinking of next year - DS will be going on a History trip to Europe with school so I'm thinking ahead to the first holiday in 26 years that Dh and I will have had without any kids Thinking Hawaii or Fiji at this stage.

looks like a wetish night, but crowd level will be low..high humidity so dont for the love of god wear something heavy with face paint

we'll be there..having dinner at cosmic rays sometime around 9pm....we'll be hanging around tomorrowland a fair bit.....seeing if i can break my record of 10 rides on SM in a night

how awesome will this be
