Hi there. We are staying at Disney for 18 nights this November. Out of those days, we'll be out of the Disney parks for 7 days. We are sorted for our TS meals and snacks won't be a problem as it's the F&WF ;)

What kind of food do you get for 1 CS credit for breakfast?

Can you think of any CS food which could be bought the night before and then eaten for breakfast?

Thanks :)

will you have a frig & a way to heat things up??

"m thinking there were some sandwiches & chips that you could get but I usually just ate my dessert from the night before for breakfast (sorry no dieting & I usually did quick service meals)

For 1 CS credit for breakfast you can get a whole breakfast platter, eggs, sausage, bacon and toast. We usually split a breakfast meal between two of us, cause its so much food.

You can also get a croissant sandwich (with egg and sausage or bacon inside), a french toast or pancake platter with sausage or bacon).

Thanks ;) A croissant sandwich sounds just the ticket! I'm sure there would also be something suitable at Epcot's Boulangerie (we have 7 TS ADR's at Epcot!!). The breakfast platter sounds yummy too.... :thumbsup2

What about going to DTD or to another resort to try out their CS places for lunch or breakfast?

My favorite thing to do is to get a cinnamon roll from the Main Street Bakery the night before. If you are wanting to use it with a CS credit, get the cinnamon roll and the croissant and egg sandwich. They are both yummy!!! The croissant, egg, and cheese may not be as yummy w/o being heated up.

Most resorts have really good quick bkfast.

If you are looking for a good CS at AK for lunch, go for the ribs at Flame Tree BBQ!

Thanks for reply. The trouble is, OKW hasn't got a good CS unfortunately, that's the problem. We've got a microwave/toaster and fridge in the room so they'll be useful!

if looking for a CS for breakfast, we like Wolfgang Puck Express in the DTD marketplace, sunshine seasons in the land pavilion in EPCOT, and the bakery in France. If you're goin to MK or Epcot, you could head over to captain cooks at poly. I think you might be able to get tonga toast. It doesnt taste exactly the same as at Kona Cafe, but its still good!

You could get CS sandwiches, drink and chips/dessert the night before from Earl of Sandwich at DTD, pop into your fridge at the resort and then take out with you in a cool bag the following day on your offsite days. If you get bottled water pop these into the freezer section and they will keep your food cool in the cool bag the next day.

My favorite thing to do is to get a cinnamon roll from the Main Street Bakery the night before.

This is what I do on my MK nights. I use a CS credit to get two cinnamon rolls and a milk, then eat one cinnamon roll and the milk for a snack before bed and the other I save for breakfast. I get milk or coffee from the food court in my refillable mug.

Yummy :thumbsup2

Stopping at the Boardwalk Bakery for sandwiches to go is an excellent use of these CS credits. All are packed to go and the desserts are way yummier than standard CS fare. When we used the DDP this was a standard for using up credits and keeping them in the fridge at OKW.

Thanks for all your replies :goodvibes We've not visited the Boardwalk Bakery so that definitely sounds like a good plan.

Not sure if bringing food into IOA/US/Seaworld is as acceptable as it is with Disney so hadn't planned on buying a sandwich the day before and bringing it with us for next day's lunch. We were just going to eat at one of their CS places.

We go to the theme parks for rope drop so DTD is out for breakfast as they don't open till 8.30/9.00am unfortunately

All other theme parks are much stricter than Disney as far as what can be brought into the parks. They follow the way Disney used to be!

You can't bring coolers or full lunches/meals into SeaWorld, but you can bring snacks. Just try not to bring too many things or split them between everyone's bags so each person only has like one sandwich and a snack and you should be fine bringing them in. Also, there are picnic tables outside of the park that you can use to have a picnic. If you have a car and a cooler, you can pack a lunch, leave it in the car (I think they also have lockers, but I'm not totally sure about that), and then go out and have a picnic lunch. We did this one year for Mother's Day with myself, my mother, my sister, and my brother, and it was really nice. I should also add, we live here in Florida (at the time I lived about an hour to an hour and a half away, now I'm about 45 minutes) and have season passes to both SeaWorld and Disney, so we didn't mind so much taking time to leave the park, go back to the car to get the food, and then eat lunch, and do the reverse to go back in. But I've definitely seen people in the parks eating food they obviously brought in with them. Plus, the bag checkers don't really check the bags all that well, so if a sandwich was at the bottom, they probably wouldn't even see it.

When we go to WDW we typically go for 9-10 nights and spend about 4 in the parks with another 2 at the waterparks. That means we aren't in a Disney Park for 3-5 days. We use our CS credits for meals to take with us-to the beach, etc. We also use CS credits on our last day for meals for our plane trip home.

Great places to grab somthting to eat later are Earl of Sandwich and Boardwalk Bakery. We visited both places on our last day. Also had breakfast at WPC our last morning.

We do have our own rental car so getting to other resorts, or DTD, is pretty easy.

If you get sandwiches to go at EoS ask for the dressings, etc. on the side. Keeps it from getting soggy. Boardwalk Bakery sandwiches some without condiments on them. They have packaged condiments.

Don't know if they changed it, but last December we were able to get 3 snacks counted as 1 CS meal.

The French bakery in Epcot will let you get two pasteries and a drink as a QS. They will put it in a to go box and you can take it back to your hotel and place it in your frig. They aren't quite as good the next day, but still yummy.

Great ideas for different breakfast using CS!

I'll be staying at Pop and I'd like to know what a CS could get us for breakfast? I know about the regular eggs platter, waffles, pancakes or french toast, but can I get something like 2-3 pastries (danishes, muffins, bagels) and a juice with a CS credit?

Just wanted to correct a few things in earlier posts. First, Main Street Bakery in the MK. You USED to be able to get the cinnamon bun (or other pastry) and the egg and cheese sandwich with a drink, or two cinnamon buns (or other pastries) and a drink for a CS breakfast. We loved to do this as it was a great breakfast with a CS credit. We were there a couple weeks ago and that is no more. You can get a cinnamon bun and a side if fruit or granola with a drink, or the egg and cheese sandwich and a drink for your CS credit, that's it. As for getting 3 snacks for a CS credit, that isn't like it used to be either. There still may be certain locations where you can do that, but it's up to the location and the server as to how flexible they are willing to be, or what you can get them to try and ring up.

The best place to use CS credits for breakfast, especially if you want to put them away for the next day, is to get two pastries and a drink in France. They will box the pastries for you. Main St. Bakery is OK, but not great like it used to be. Sunshine seasons is decent, but I don't know about to go. Ask st any place that serves baked goods/pastries and see what they will give you for your CS credit.
