7 dollars...

So I bought two books that my g.f wants for christmas, tonight at Barnes and Noble and spent 31 dollars. Well I came home and went online and found out that I can get the same 2 books with shipping for 24 dollars. Should I return the bookstore ones for the 7 bucks? Or just deal with it??

That seven dollars is seven dollars that you can do something else with. I know it's a big hassle, but I think you ought to return the books and get them cheaper.

I had the same thing happen today. I went to a specialty cooking shop and bought some wine accessories for gifts. Later I was at World Market and saw the same items. I knew without looking that they would be cheaper.

Quite honestly, I just walked by and pretended I hadn't seen them. It was worth it to know I had already purchased those gifts and I didn't have to do anything else other than wrap and mail them. It would have been well worth the seven bucks to me to ignore them!!!!

On the other hand, seven bucks is seven bucks, and if you don't mind a minimal amount of effort, order them online and when they come return the ones to the store. If you're going to be near the store in the next few weeks anyway, you might as well save yourself the cash.
