heading down in february, arriving on a sat leaving on a sunday.

in the past always got 2 trips in and did an AP. can't do this time!

My husband likes to golf and may golf once or twice during the week and not go to the park during the day. Usually those days we'll eat at a resort restaurant.

We've never done water parks or DQ in the past, if the weather's good in Feb may consider it.

So, are we better off with a 7+4 PHP where we could possibly have 11 days and take home what we don't use or the 30 day FITS.

All the same price almost. I like the flexibility of the FITS, you don't feel like you'r wasting a day for a few hours. That's what I liked about the AP's.

7 day for hubby, fits for son and myself? he's 10 so it's the adult price anyway!!

my SIL and BIL are going to. SIL will do what I do, BIL will do what hubby does.

we'll have a car and are staying at SSR.

I would pick the FITS pass for the flexibility. My son is 12 and Disney Quest is a must do for him. During our Easter trip we went to DQ several times. We never stayed there longer than 3 hours. There's no way I'd have gone for such a short time if I had to "pay" to get in. Since we had the FITS passes, I didn't mind. On our last day we went to Epcot for about 2 hours.

From now on when we take a trip for 6 days or more, I'll buy the 30 day passes.

My wife DS (11) and I are going for the same length trip and I need the same answer for my DW and DS. I have an AP so the only question is should I buy a reg AP for DS & DW, buy a 7 day PHP for them, or buy the FITS for them. We may be able to go back this year, but with DW starting nursing school in the fall, it is unlikely. Help!!!

How many days do you think you would be returning home with on the 7-day passes if you were to purchase them instead of the FITS?

Does the value of those saved days outweigh the flexibility and variety that the FITS passes will offer you?

If you were to sit down today and plan an itinerary for your trip - which parks on what days, if or when you'll visit DQ and the waterparks, if PI will be included, etc. - would that itinerary change dramatically if you had the 7-day PHPs vs the FITS passes?

It sounds to me like you're already leaning towards purchasing the FITS passes for the ladies and your DS. Since you're used to the flexibility of the APs, the cost is pretty much the same either way, and you'll be able to experience some of the other attractions that WDW has to offer that you have skipped in the past, my vote would be to get the FITS passes, too.

you're right for my son and I we're going to do the FITS. It's for my husband and BIL that I'm debating between the FITS and the 7 day plus.

Since we don't know how many days they'll golf, if the weather will be ok for water parks (mid feb) etc it's hard to plan how many days they'd use.

Sat parks possibly
Mon, Tues, Wed, Thurs, Fri, Sat at least 2 golf days and then they wouldn't go to the parks, and we'd eat at resort so maybe 4 park/water park days.

total of 5 days to water park or theme park it. so out of the 7+4 we'd probably still have time left. and that's assuming they don't park in the morning and wate rpark in the afternoon!

tough decision!
