Is there such a thing for Disneyland?

We are flying in on a Sunday around noon and flying out on a Saturday around 2pm. We'd love access to the parks for all the days we're there but to buy a 6 day pass and a 1 day pass is nuts!

6 days for my family = $776
1 day park hopper = $356
1 day park one park only = $256

NUTS!

IMHO (we're AP holders), 6 days in one visit is more than enough park time. Why not consider a "day off", or a visit to another SoCal attraction?

You are totally right. :) We just don't get to go to Disneyland very often... our kids will be 5, 3 and 1 so we're doing everything at a slow/laid back toddler pace. So daily mid-day breaks, etc. We're not planning to go to other area attractions due to our kids ages and the fact that we'd have to get transportation to go somewhere else kwim?

I think we've decided that because on day 1 (Sunday) the parks are open until 11pm we'll use our first day's pass on that day. We won't get there until about 3pm, but we can take the kids on the train and show them the lay of the land. Then after the kids go to bed, dh & I will go back to the parks. Don't worry... my parents are coming on this trip with us so the kids won't be alone! Our last day (Saturday) we will not be doing to the parks but having breakfast at the Rainforest Cafe, shopping and swimming at the Hojo prior to catching our super shuttle at noon to head on home.

For your family is it cheaper to get a deluxe AP instead of a six day and a 1 day park hopper? I think the 6 day is 209 and the 1 day is 94? So that'd be what...303? And the deluxe is only 269? And if you dont travel over any blackout days you could have full access to the park? Depends on when you travel though. Also if it is still cheaper for the kids do the 6 day plus a 1 day and just get you and DH AP's, that'll save you 68 bucks for the 2 of you. Just a thought :)

Good idea, but one of our days is blocked out. I wish we lived close enough to make use of an AP!

6 days is more than enough time for parks. First day you can take the kids to do meet and greets or jedi academy. The train is fun as you stated and you could do the mark twain and Princess Faire. There might be a parade to see or even fireworks. The horse drawn trolley and fire engines are kiddie favourites. Turn them loose in Toontown as they will like to play on the Bounce house and other neat things. It is only 10 minutes or less by train around the park.

There is the Lego store, Rainforest, shops and stuff in Downtown Disney.

If you can make it to DLR every year an AP is totally worth it, IMO. You could go in say April 2009 and then go again in late March/early April 2010 and get 2 visits with the AP. Then go in 2011 and 2012 the same way. It could be a good thing. :thumbsup2

So, buy the 6 day (or 5 or whatever) hoppers and then upgrade ON your blackout day. You will have FULL access to both parks on your blackout day if you upgrade then, no blackout fee required. Then you'll be able to possibly plan a return trip before your AP expires which eliminates the need for tickets next year in theory saving your family about $800.......

To answer simply.. NO :)
Disneyland no longer does PH passes longer than 6 days.

Oh and right now the Goofy's Bounce house is closed.

So... if I understand correctly...

My 6 day hopper is $209.00 adult $179.00 kids = $418/$358 ($776.00)

Annual pass is $269 each = $1076

So... if we wanted to go a 7th day we would pay another $300 and then we'd have a pass for a year.

Tempting... but I think dh would say no. :) If we were planning on going back in the next year it would make total sense but I'm certain that's not going to happen.

Yes, your math above looks about right. :) Talk to DH about it, you never know, he might say yes. Mine did, you coulda knocked me over with a feather! LOL

Don't forget to add in the discounts on food. If you eat 6 X $50 a day in parks then you save $30 with the AP. For $270 more you might as well do a second trip in 11 months and save yourself over $700 on admission.
