Hi! We are planning our December 2008 California Vacation and wanted to get 7 day ticket to Disneyland thinking that we would do 5 full days and 2 half days/evenings. I see that they have the promotion for 7 day hopper for the price of 5 day hopper but thats only good until April. Otherwise, i cant find 7 day tickets anywhere? What are my options? I looked into a deluxe AP but 2 of my vacation days are blocked out so that doesnt work either. I also looked into a Disney package that does offer 7 day park tickets but it comes out to being much more expensive then paying my hotel + tickets individually. So whats a girl to do?!?!?!?!!?!?!? Thanks alot!::thumbsup2

Are the days that are blocked out by the AP at the beginning or end of your trip? If they are within the first five days, go ahead and get a 5-day hopper, then upgrade it to a AP after you've visited on the blocked out days. As long as you have unused time on the pass, you can upgrade.

mAlien13: that would have been a GREAT idea but my blocked out days are my 2 last days (Dec 20-21)!

nancy drew: thank you so much for the link! They do have the 7 day hopper for December! And its cheaper than an AP since its $204!

Thanks alot to you two! :)

You don't get the actual ticket ~ you get a voucher, but they made it sound like all you really need is a photo ID for the person picking up the ticket(s) you can have them call you, check out their website ~ www.getawaytoday.com

A couple of fwiw items.

Do confirm it, but i believe the Getaway tickets will give you 2 days of MM (as opposed to just 1). Which would be handy on a 7 day visit. Of course, if you're staying on site, you'll get MM all days it's offered so the that wouldn't be an additional benefit.

& Jozy, DLR is the entire resort (DCA is just one of the parks). DLR consists of DL, DCA (Disney California Adventure), the 3 hotels, & Downtown Disney. :)

.

I ordered tickets (due to the 2 MM!!!) from getawaytoday and got my voucher to exchange for actual tickets in about 10 days....also...you can use podcast in the promotion code and get 10.00 off

When I booked out travel in May through Alaska Air, I was told the 2 bonus day ticket offer has been extended to the end of the year. I can't confirm it beyone that but it might be worth checking directly with DLR to find out if that is true and save a bit.

No separate tickets for MM. They are "programmed" (? I don't know what to call it) into your park entrance ticket.
