I have 7:40 PM ressie. I booked as soon as we found out we were going, but that was the earliest I could get in. I think that is not enough time to eat and catch Illuminations, correct?

We had a 7:00 reservation when we went in September 2005 and we missed illuminations. The service was really, really...really, slow.

I am not sure if this is typical though so you may just make it. Remember, too, that a 7:40 ADR does not mean you are going to sit at 7:40 - you are just the next available table for your party size at that time. It depends on what is happening with the tables ahead of you as well.

Have fun!!:goodvibes

Probably won't make it....when we went in November, we had a 6:00 ADR and didn't get seated until close to 7:00 and then the service was slow. This is the worst restaurant I've been to as far as punctuality is concerned. We've gone there twice in the past 10 or so years and both times waited excessive amounts of time just to be seated. The food was very good (not great), but the wait to be seated was truly annoying, especially with 2 children. ::MinnieMo

Maybe I should try a late lunch instead? What is the latest they serve lunch?

Probably not. Le Cellier is pretty notorious for running late on ADR seating times. The only times we've been seated at our ADR time was when the restaurant was just opening. The longest we waited past our time was 30 minutes. We've never had slow service, but it usually takes us at least an hour to eat at TS. HTH.

I'm not sure of the latest lunch time but you can always call and ask for just that - the latest seating they have for lunch. We prefer lunch to dinner there anyway. It's much less crowded and we've never had to wait more than a few minues to be seated.

And you would miss Illuminations with a 7:40 seating. Even if you are seated at that time, a normal meal takes about an hour. That's really pushing it and everything has to go perfectly. Save some indigestion and do the lunch.

I booked the 2:10 lunch. I will let the dinner ressie go if someone here wants it. It is for Thursday Sept 20 at 7:40, ressie for two. They are already sold out for dinner on that day
