It's good to see you refrain from something ? Anything? Take Barb for instince PLEASE!;):lmao:

Did DD arrive safely in FL yet? Hope she had good weather and has a great time being spoiled by grandma.
Nope flight leaves at 5 getting ready to leave for airport!:dance3:

Yes, please take me anywhere that is warm and there's no sign of snow. :worship:

Poor kid, doesn't even get half the day in FL and no sunshine there either for today. :rotfl2:

Poor you, that's what you get for being the adult. :headache:

Way to go Alan. :yay: :woohoo:  Now he needs to work on a hat trick for another game.

It's been sunny and the low 70's the last few days.
Sure....just what the rest of us need to hear. :headache: :sad1:

can finally see tiny little patches of driveway through the snow here
:yay: Hurray for the little things when there's snow on the ground.

Oh my daughter just landed at PBI now she has to find my mother & survive the car ride to the Beach!:scared1:

Good for him.

Sorry to tell you, since your DD arrived safely in PBI that she'll be expecting to fly by herself more often. :headache: :rolleyes1 :dance3:

We've decided not to go for the taste of Sweden - my family just aren't adventurous enough. I know you see the guards etc. so I guess it just depends on the timings. After this we will just amble around with no specific plans except to get a bear at the Hard Rock (DD collects the beanies as we travel the world).

Celestine
My DH and DS are very adventurous when it comes to food...my DD and I less so...much less:rolleyes1 So we'll decide when they reveal the menu.
I thought I read somewhere the changing of the guards in Stockholm was around noon:confused3 So I figured if we were meeting at 11:30 that getting a spot to watch the changing of the guards was not likely. I'm much more relaxed with regard to this port so just want to have fun and not stress over seeing everything (this tour is ideal-lots of fun and few decisions:cloud9:).

How many beanies does your DD have now? Does she just collect bears from Hard Rock cafes or does she include other beanies from other places as well?

:lmao:I felt the same way when the street in front of our house started to become visible:woohoo: The little things that make us happy:goodvibes

:cheer2:Congrats to your son:thumbsup2
It's a parent's job/duty/joy/whatever to brag:thumbsup2

How old is your DD Robert?
My sis wants me to fly my kids over to CA to visit her but I was nervous about sending my DD alone (she was barely 12 at the time). I'll be better able to handle it if she goes with her brother (3 and 1/2 years older).

I wanted to PM my information...but the nice silly rule of having a minimum of 10 posts kinda defeated my best attempts...so...

Disname: Nightmarestang - Leon (29...contrary to what Caven 553 thinks, I will not be quite that many decades old!)
DW: Laura (25)
We live in Lincoln, NE and will be traveling with her parents, sister, brother-in-law, and niece. This will be Laura's and my 5th/6th (doing the Western Europe following this cruise) Disney cruises. Laura graduates in May (yay!). We both work for Information Analytics. She works in billing and soon to be in the main office and I work as a Website Designer and Programmer. Also, if anyone is looking for a weight lifting partner for the cruise, let me know (I lift daily and do semi-pro football).

Welcome aboard Leon and Laura:cheer2::cheer2:
What a great way to celebrate a graduation:thumbsup2

Post some more so you get past that rule. You'll be surprised how fast you get past 10 posts:laughing:
What are your plans for this trip:confused3
Are you sticking with DCL excursions or doing your own?

How did you get into website design/programming? My son (16) is a huge gamer and I am hoping he takes an interest in something like website design.

My DH does some weight lifting at home but not sure if he will be making time for it on the ship (hence not a reliable partner).

More questions later:rolleyes1;)

I'm off to my one month post CI (cochlear implant) activation appointment at Johns Hopkins today:woohoo:

Gotta tell you guys this implant is great:goodvibes

So amazing how much better I hear. Not perfect, but a million times better than my hearing aids.

I'm getting better on the phone with short easy calls and will eventually progress to major chatting:rolleyes1
Hardest thing now is to get over my fear of the phone:laughing: Many years of frustration went into building that phone fear and it is not easy to kick but I'm working on it.

Music is not great but that also takes time. Watching American Idol is weird...most people sound bad except for those with low voices. Anyone watching Amercian Idol:confused3 Who's good:confused3:laughing:

I only said she would be expecting it, I never said you would be sending her be herself a lot. :rotfl2: :lmao: :rotfl:

We won't tell him that you are bragging about him. :rolleyes1

You poor thing with all those girls. :headache: :scared1:

Off to run some errands with DD today. The weather is looking good, so I'll be all set to go to NYC tomorrow.

Just so he doesn't confuse the front page count - this is my brother in law that is already on there with me :) He just finally got around to logging on to the Dis and posting it appears. I knew that he would eventually figure it out - and now we can all be proud of him :rotfl2:

(for those of you that wanted me to post more - trading barbs with him will probably do it)

This is great news!

I am watching American Idol but I really don't think they are showing anyone really good yet. Give it some time.

We went to visit the in-laws today to work out some trip planning.
I am definitely booking Anastasia in StP. That's it...We are probably for sure doing Oslo on our own. But we didn't do much of any other planning. :confused3
Mostly just visited and had lunch.
We might get together again the beginning of April.

:3dglassesGood Morning All!:3dglasses
Bought the DW a new car last night:headache: oh well off to the Gym!
