It gets easier when they grow up and go to college. This is the quietest snow day, I've ever had. Usually, they want to go to the mall and go shopping. I'm saving hundreds of dollars today!

Everyplace had paper (some scratchy), some you had to watch the locks since they didn't like to work, but everyplace was civilized. The only place we had a laugh over the toilet was the Hermitage - the funniest looking thing with 'seats' screwed onto the top. And no....I did not take a picture since there was a line.
In Tallinn we used the one in McDonald's. Copenhagen, we found one in the department store. Warnemunde we used one in a cafe. St.P we relied on the guide to point us in the right direction especially since she had the coins to pay for it if need be.

This is going to be a very interesting experience for my family

Josh called this afternoon to say he'd been awarded a Gold Slip for Geography. This is the highest accolade the school gives out for consistantly good grades

How much should I tip the Dominos delivery guy in this weather ?

I did have the kids shovel the front steps and they did the part of the driveway closest to the steps (They don't like what I have for lunch at home, hence their diligence )
So walking from the car to our door shouldn't be hazardous.

He just turned 16 on the 21st, he says he wants to take the test over february vacation. With all the Hockey he does not have much spare time!

Oh no, another driver may be on the road in the winter.

DD just informed me a few days ago that her school will not be offering driver's ed next year at her school - cutbacks at the vo-tech. So now I have to look into what she will have to do to ger her permit. The state is supposedly changing the laws that from 16-18 the kids will have a permit and then get their permanent license at 18. I haven't heard either of these things but it wouldn't surprise me.
