From what I've read about Tivoli, if you aren't there in the evenings to see it all lit up it's not worth going for the rides. I've heard it described like a park with old carnival rides that you aren't sure you want to ride.

No my family had a place at 5001 Collins Ave back in the days of white bucks & leisure suits! I used to be taken out of school in Ma & brought to FLA for the winter!
Life was good!

My dream life, I guess everyone was kind of bummed the week you had the snow though........

We will be joining you. It will be myself, Dh, DD (16), DS (14), DS (12) and DD (10). We live in Northern California.

We have 3 B2B cruise booked right now. This one... the July 30th --8 night & Aug 7th --11 night med. We will have to see as the time gets closer... what ones we can truly afford.

Welcome! We have all three of those booked as well . . . hoping to do them all, but we will see closer to time!

Welcome Cindy we are doing the first 2 & wait listed for the same cabin for the 3rd!

OMG I don't know whether to be over awed, humbled or just plain jealous that we'll be crusing in the company of so many people that can afford both the money and the time to do 3 B2B crusies

I can't afford it, don't get the wrong idea. My DH definitely isn't sure if he can afford the time either. I'm off all summer and I consider it the trip of a lifetime, but we'll see.

Nope it melted rather rapidly the pool was always heated (cheap oil) & went swimming that day!

No, I stupidly have never thought of that........I've never been an actual resident......I'll have to check that out......I love this thread!!!

OMG....I can't believe you don't have a FL id, we even have FL id's for the discounts. Love the price of the res. AP's especially when bought by a CM to be even cheaper. So far we haven't been able to get a FL res. rate for DCL.

You might want to check online to see if any of the licensing places will be open this Sat. when you are down there and make an appt. to go and get your id's. They are good for 5 years.
