I heard tomorrow will be the shortest day. That means come Monday the days will start to get longer. :yay:

While it might be the shortest day there, tomorrow is the longest night, I think.

I just want to know we are back, on our 'road' to the Sun, and getting warmer, its a long run until March when we go onto British Summer time, but at least the days will get longer again.

Then August is on its way and my Eastern Cruise to Tortola, looking forward to that.

Just had to quote myself. Now I'm going to have the Jimmy Buffett song, Come Monday, stuck in my head all day. At least his songs remind me of :beach: and :drinking1 . Both good thoughts to have this time of year. :grouphug:

Now you have it stuck in my head too. Oh well, by this time next week we will be in FL, having lunch someplace at WDW (airplanes, busses, and other travelers all on schedule).

Caro & I have you beat, we have a 4 day in May to celebrate 25 years. We were originally doing a 7 day Eastern but Alana has a band trip to D'land that week so if we took the 4-day we can also see them perform in Anaheim.

Thats good, May should be nice, I have longer to wait, but have the cruise sandwiched between the Contemporary and a Villa @ Formosa Gardens 192 just outside WDW.

Mondays are long enough as it is!

Though my Fridays are getting to be worse days than Mondays at work.

Since your weather is being backwards now, I guess it makes sense that your work week is also backwards.

Since we are talking 2009 I have both of you beat since we are going down Easter week, as long as things get settled with our lawsuit before then since trial is scheduled that week. Then we have a 4 day leaving on Father's Day and then 3 days at Bonnet Creek, our timeshare next to Carribbean Beach.

I just remembered Andrew, you have to be good until your 4 day or I get to take your place.

I think we are dropping Universal for 09, we have stayed onsite at Universal in 03 and 06 both for 7 nights and did it all in about 24 hours each time.

We have 21 night passes for WDW, so I will use them pre and post cruise, on and off site and have Discovery cove and therefore Seaworld inc as well, so a lot to get in.

Basically we only miss the new Simpsons ride.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH

Are you taking good care of my phone? (yes, I left it at home AGAIN! :confused3 )

Sounds like you'll be needing lots of Scrumpy too. :drinking1 :drinking: :headache: :cold:

You must really be counting down the days until your trip. :cool1:

It isn't expected until tonight. Besides, is that why God invented Teenagers?

Yes, I am taking great care of your phone. Silly phone, not being in your purse.

Are you trying to tell me something Dear??

I like Universal -- and we haven't been since the summer of 2006 -- you are right, I think the Simpsons ride is the only new one but I like all the old ones too . . . staying at Portofino which is my favorite hotel there (we've stayed there before as well as at Hard Rock) and with the onsite front of the line passes it's nice to relax and not race to get to things first thing in the morning . . . it's also nice to walk everywhere and not have to wait for buses.

Of course WDW is our first love, and if our arrival next Friday is on time, we will spend the afternoon/evening at Epcot, and the day we get off the ship will go to (probably) AK that day . . .

I like the FOTL passes when you stay onsite, we have stayed both times at the Royal Pacific, I like the rooms and location, but must say the service and staff training there was bad. Maybe the second time I should have gone to Hard Rock.

With FOTL, we are on everything so fast, I know Shrek had a two hour wait and we just went straight into the show, we could finish off and go back to the RP for a swim, its pool is lagoon style and very nice, kids liked that.

One of my favorite rides was back to the future replaced by the Simpson's, but I also like The Mummy, ( better in Hollywood) and Men in black.

Staying both times for 7 nights was too much, I did Clearwater, Kennedy, and Seawold from there as well and still ended up repeating rides.

You aren't supposed to leave your phone at home when the weather is bad.

I can pack at the drop of a hat if I need to. :lmao: :rotfl:
I packed for a 3 week cross country trip for DD & I with 3 days notice. Packing for a 4 day cruise in May will not be a problem for me.

I'm doing :laundy: too, do you want to come and help me?!? :confused3 :worship:
I told DD tonight if she wants to pack it, she better not wear it in the next few days. Laundry is not guaranteed to be done before we leave.
