Ok all you folks on the west side of the pond ...... what are your plans for Black Friday ??? Anyone got their eye on something special ??

As Andrew already said, he's working. The girls and I are actually marching in a parade. The Macy's in downtown Seattle has their own version of Macy's Thanksgiving Parade, just on a much smaller scale. We're doing it with the Girl Scouts. Alana and I will be clowns and Kathryn is going to be a snowflake! They supply the costumes and everything. We just have to show up. It's even going to be televised on one of the local channels!

Hello Kathryn Well you are right we don't do Thanksgiving and we don't do Black Friday either in fact we don't really have a start to celebrate Christmas at all. You see we don't call it The Holidays as there is only Christmas in fact calling it Holidays is something that that only we do as we don't celebrate Christmas.

Hi All,

Just checking in. All this talk of Christmas trees and I just bought my turkey today!!!!!

We do the artificial tree now. I like to decorate right after Thanksgiving so the real tree gets a little "tired" looking by Christmas. It is right in front of a heater so it gets too dry. We bought a beautiful artificial tree and I light Christmas tree candle scents around (I love "tree" by Bath and Body works) but you all are right, there is nothing as wonderful as a real tree.

I hope you right about the tree scent Maryann as I've just bought 6 Bathe and Body Works Christmas Tree scentportables to clip to our artificial tree ON YOUR RECOMMENDATION, so woe betide you if they don't smell nice !!! I had to get them on ebay as we can't get Bath and Body Works over here and they don't ship outside of the US on their website
