Caro, I'm guessing since we are staying in the same vicinity we will be on the same bus. Just wondering if Robert will be on it as well. If so it could make for an interesting ride to the port especially if he gets his 'special drink'. :drinking

Have we put someone on charge of keeping an eye on Robert? We want his wife to enjoy herself on this cruise!

Thanks for those kind words etc...the buses should be fine I plan transport for a living and know what sort of issues pop up, although as they say in the Army "time spent on recces is seldom wasted". We did the exact routes on a saturday morning, about two hours later than cruise day. There is a little bit of extra built in. The biggest problems were at London Bridge hotel as it has a nightmare circuit (camera enforced) and Stanhope Place Parkwood, which has a width restriction.

However the plan is all sorted, sweets sorry I mean candy & water has been purchased from Costco. I am working on a Balyhoo bus cd for the drive down, starts with a rousing speech from Sir Winston Churchill. Struggling with decent tracks for Tallin, Stockholm & Oslo thinking about doing a guess the link to the songs on our bus, if anyone is sober enough

Robert, cider is being purchased next Friday from Somerset and it will be to your liking (I will ask for recommended apple taste). Bringing hard liquor I would suggest a litre each adult duty free or a 3litre JD like my brother just bought me and I will help you drink it

I really wouldn't like to be on a post cruise bus with hyper kids from a sugar diet for 12 nights, bad enough I will have two in my car, (only joking kids when you read this).

As mentioned earlier as I live in London, I understand the logistical issues of putting this together, they have done a dry run, and London has so many hurdles from the one way systems to speed cameras to waiting zones etc,

I used to dry in the city, I no longer do, 1/ as our transport is good, 2/ I do not like sitting in traffic jam's.

Paul an Celestine have worked hard on this.

The DW calmed down about the early pick up after she remember'd the Magic
