I've been reading up nonstop. Although I know I'll probably lay it all aside and wind up on a deck chair with the drink of the day in one hand and an unread paperback in the other...

Best resource so far: Dave's Magical Cruise Guide! Any others you've found that are not to be missed?

My fiance & I are SOOOOOOO excited!! This will be our honeymoon (plus 4 days in AKL after). Its terrible but we are more excited about the cruise than the whole wedding thing
Dave's site is excellent & the castawayclub site (cant remember what it is) I am CONSTANTLY on these boards looking for more info!!!
This will be my second Magic cruise, new hubby's first(only his second WDW trip)!!!

Congrats mickeynut!! DH and I waited 6 years after wedding for cruise, now we're hooked! Even bringing DDs this time. What excursions are you doing? Have you looked into Surial at the spa? Palos?

We are doing the French Riviera in St. Martin & Coral World in St.Thomas...Im still working on my fiance to do the surial bath!
Palo's is a definite YES!! Food was excellent & very romantic!!

bump this up for more people with us?

We're taking DDs 11 and 6 and have decided to try for Palo's brunch so we can still have dinner (8:30) with them after the show (or not if they're sleepy). We will definitely be doing the Surial. I love all the stories about that "treatment"--so funny!

We're doing our own on the islands:
On St. Martin-butterfly farm and Orient Beach (maybe taxi to Megan's Bay)
On St. Thomas-coral world and Coki Beach

This way if the girls want to stay longer somewhere we're not committed to tour timetable. We're taking snorkel gear but I'm not sure if it will or won't hold their interest.

I'm so excited I already have a cruise bag full of stuff to pack. Just haven't bought clothes yet.

What kind of wedding service are you having? Church, outside? I hope it's beautiful for you

The shopping has already begun. Trying to get that done, along with final wedding day arrangements. The honeymoon shopping has definitely been more fun
Now that challenge is what to wear for formal night. My hubby to-be is not the fondest of dress up. We're thinking a suit, not sure about me yet. Any thoughts?

We live near the shore, so our ceremony is at our church, with reception at a banquet hall right on the ocean. I really wanted a beach ceremony, but we're catholic & that's impossible to do. But Im happy with the beach pics.

DH won't do the tux but he's found a really sharp black suit that he looks great in at S & K. Then on semi-formal night he'll probably use one of his sports jackets with lighter slacks. I think everything else he has in mind for casual are his usual Docker-style pants and collared golf shirts. I was looking at silky long dresses with the lace that covers them but that might be better for semi-formal. I'll need something darker beside his black suit. We don't "dress up" often so I'm looking forward to it.

We were married on a mountain top overlooking LaJolla Cove in San Diego. It was beautiful but I kind of missed the tradition of a church wedding. It sounds like you're getting the best of both worlds! My tip to you is hire a professional for video and pix. We had family do it and well...let's just say there was some confusion about the on/off switch on the video and the pictures were all a little too candid. Oh well, nothing that I can't close my eyes and remember! What day's the wedding?
