I believe there are diffenent types of these but DD asked for rainbow loom so that is what I got. I am not sure the difference.

I bought DD's at Michaels. It was $16,99 and the replacement packages of bands were $3.99. The Rainbow Loom kit came with enough bands to make 24 bracelets.

they go through the bands quick! my daughter when though all of them the first day! if you see the replacements, pick them up, because they often go out of stock.

If he has all of his travel items I would probably give him some Euros and do something "cute" like wrap up a box with a little toy plane, an eiffel tower, a map of France, a street map of the city he will be visiting.

I have a new dilemma. The major gift for my ds15 is we are flying him to France for a school exchange program in Feb. He obviously knows all about it. He's still getting a bunch of small presents -- movies, gift cards, calendars, ornaments etc., but I want to find a way to highlight that he's getting this big gift so he won't be sad on Christmas, when he's used to opening a big surprise. I'm trying to think of something we could give him to bring the trip to the forefront of his mind. My dh is adamant that this is his big gift and I am not to buy something else. We just had an exchange student visit for 10 days, and my son is going to stay with his family when he visits. The student did not buy much in the way of souvenirs...I'm sure my son will want to buy more though. I was thinking maybe wrapping up some euros? He already has a suitcase and travel kit, although I will buy more travel size items to go in his stocking. I'm hoping you guys have some ideas!

Sounds awesome! I wonder if you can order free guides to France online? If not maybe find a cheap book on France and wrap that up as a reminder?

Does he speak French pretty well?
Whenever my dh travels to France he breaks out his audio lessons to brush up. You could do something like that for your ds if he needs to refresh his skills before his trip.

I just ordered custom fabric to make dishtowels for my Mom for Christmas. We scanned in recipe cards hand written by my Grandmothers and Great Grandma, then I will finish the edges. My Mom will be able to see their hand writing on a daily basis and they will be something useful!

Your mom is going to love those! You are so creative.

Today I bought my mom a heated throw at Costco. It was $6 off for $23.99.

I also bought dd7 the Our Generation truck at Target. It was $5 off. She didn't ask for it but I know she will love it.

I had NO intention of getting these, but I was at Kohl's today and they are SOOOOO cute. We have a snoopy that has a santa outfit on so I think I may have to go back to get Woodstock and Charlie Brown and a book or two. I can't resist!

I did pick up the Snoopy and Woodstock, but they aren't small enough to be stocking stuffers so I guess I'll give them to her as a gift, I had seen them in the store, I'm not sure why I thought they were small .

Subbing. Looks like lots of great ideas here and I want to come back when I have more time.

I shop all year long because we still buy for everyone. The one year we decided not to exchange gifts with my DH's 4 siblings they still bought for us even though we had discussed not doing gifts. Talk about uncomfortable to be opening gifts from each of them but having nothing to give to them. So anyway we usually do a theme and I buy one a month. So I am almost done with just about my whole family on both sides. Going to start wrapping next week and see what I have left to buy.

We are going to Disney in Jan so I am buying Disney themed gifts for my 2 kids, my 2 nieces and my nephew. They are getting thermal Disney shirts and Guide to the magic books from me and my sister is getting them pins and gift cards so they will be all set.

If you don't mind saying, where did you order it from? I saw the directions on how to do it but can't find it anywhere now. I wanted to do this for my kids with their grandmothers recipes but didn't know where to get the fabric.

I want to get my DS9 a new Ipod touch. Just not sure which one. He has an Ipod touch 4th generation that he got used and it doesn't have much memory. So I am thinking of the newer 5th gen with either 16GB or 32GB. I guess I guess I will see if there are any black Friday deals.

I have NO idea what to get for my DH. I thought about boudoir photos but those are really expensive. Sports stuff doesn't work because he works for an NFL team and gets that stuff for free. Anybody have any good ideas?

I might be able to return the lotions, but I can't return the sweater since it was clearance at the outlet which is 1.5 hours away. UGH! And it is a medium which I can't wear. May ask my cousin what size she is .

See, this is why my OCD stinks. Yes, it is a milder form, but it can still really cause me panic about the stupidest things!

Yes, ma'am, you can ask!! Are you wanting to just give it to her since you can't wear it, or give it to her as a Christmas gift? If you are just giving to give, tell her what happened and say, would you like to have it? It's a Medium, and I wasn't sure what size you like to wear in sweaters. If its a gift, just say, you found something you think she would like~and ask what size does she wear normally in sweaters, jackets, etc…she won't be totally surprised, but she will still appreciate it! Personally, I would just flat out tell her what is up and ask her if she wants it! LOL..then you won't feel awkward and neither will she!​

Kind of expensive, but I'm getting my dh a Go Pro camera. Costco has it for $229.

Put up the first of three trees in the last 2 days since I had a 3 day weekend. This is the biggest and it is new, bought it after Christmas last year. It took me 7 hours to spread the limbs out and decorate it. We have a cabin rented in Pigeon Forge, Tenn. and we will not be home over Thanksgiving. Plan to slowly put up other things in the next 2 weeks. Presents wrapped are under the tree.
