6pm BOG on party night

I was able to get a 6pm BOG reservation for December....then found out it’s a party night. We won’t be going to the party. I called and a CM confirmed we would be able to go to our reservation, then leave the park. She said you can’t make any reservations later than 6. I did try to modify and can’t get anything earlier, but also there’s no option to search for a later time, which makes me think we’ll be ok and can keep it.

I know CMs can give out wrong information so wondering if anyone has insight? My niece really wants to meet the beast but if we keep this we have to change around our plans for the day ( originally planned on Animal Kingdom that day).

I believe cut off is actually 6:10pm.
You will receive a NON party wrist band upon checking in and you will be "encouraged" to leave the park immediately after your meal.

We just did this Tuesday 10/23. BOG reservation for 6:05 with no party ticket. We were given a special wrist band and then when dinner was over we just made our way out of the park.

We had 5:45 CRT on a party night this week and as with BOG reported above we were just told to leave after the meal was over

Dining reservations are available from 6:00 PM to 9:30 PM and are strongly recommended.
