6am flight from MCO, when can i check in?

I know when I leave from Wash/Dulles on 6am flights I can't check in 2 hours early because the ticket counters don't open until around 4:45am and security usually opens around that time also.

Does anyone know what time the United counter opens at MCO?
Flight leaves at 6am and I will be returning a rental car to an on site agency.
I have no idea what time to leave WDW to get to the airport??
How busy is MCO at 5am?

It can be very busy at 5 AM. You have a lot of people flying out first thing in the morning.

We have a flight our at 6:05AM on AA in May and according to its website, the AA counter opens at MCO at 4 AM. You might try the UA website for info on the UA counter. Also, it appears from the TSA website that Security also opens prior to 5 AM because they report small delays between 4 and 5 AM.

We had a 7 AM flight several years ago and had very little extra time at the gate before boarding. We tried to leave WL about 4:45 but we couldn't find a valet to get us our car keys, so that end delaying our departure from the resort. No traffic on the way to the airport but the airport was somewhat busy for check-in and security.
