6652 way in the back with Large Verhanda??

I was given cabin # 6652 catagory 6, Back end of Ship with a Larger Verhanda? We have never cruised before. I made coment that it might be rocky or choppy but she said it's her personal Secreat hide-away with the Large deck? She said it's quiet and never feels rocking? Being that I know ZIP!!! I was hoping that someone could help me out if they know these far back rooms? Other rooms that seem alike are,

Hi, Chatty from a fellow Michigander!

We sailed on 9/20 and had cabin 6150. The veranda was almost double the size of the standard ones, which was wonderful. It is, however, solid metal instead of plexiglas. Are you traveling with small children? My 4 year old immediately pulled the small table over to the railing to stand on so she could see, almost giving me a heart attack. I quickly explained the "Mickey ship rules" and we had no problems after that.

As far as motion, it was smooth as silk and very quiet being in the aft. No hallway or ship noise at all.

Another plus is that the ship actually curves back there, cutting down on the wind on the veranda when you're sailing.

I would book it again in a heartbeat!

on our first 3 day WONDER cruise we were in 6652. the veranda is about 10% larger. the room is very quite and the view from castaway cay is great. in fact for me it was tooooo quite.

KyCruiseCrazy..I was just worried that this room being so far back was being pushed on me maybe because most people want in the middle? I am finding out different. Without everyones help I would have tryed to change the room in tomorrow. So A BIG THANKS!!

Hi ~
We were in 7638 last year---as far back as you can get. The verandah was gihugic (my own word there). As far as rocking, there was some, but we felt it throughout the ship as well----hallways, restaurants etc----mainly while crossing over the gulf stream. There were a couple times when our closet door slid open and shut----this just cracked us all up though. I honestly didn't find the motion bad and well-worth the extra big verandah imho. OTOH, I have nothing to compare this to, as it was our first cruise. I think you'll love your stateroom---have a great time. We got the secret porthole rooms for our next cruise (had to budget crunch as we needed 2 rooms and are doing the 7 day this time), so I hope that BIG verandah didn't spoil us too much.
