6618? 6122? Anyone Stay in These???

Wondering if these are noisy ---- since they're located so near an elevator bank/stairwell ????

We've stayed in 6616 and we LOVE the location. It is just so convient to walk out your door and be right at the elevators!! The Aft elevators aren't really that crowded, so if you need them they are pretty quick. We mainly used the stairs, and being on the sixth deck you're generally only 3 decks away from anything, either way. We loved the location of 6616 on our cruise last year, we've booked the same stateroom for our Magic cruise next year!!! Whoops... I forgot to answer your question about noise. We NEVER heard any noise associated with the elevators, and we were in our rooms pretty early, by 9:30 most nights (little kids) and weren't bothered it by the least!!

We've stayed in 6612 and 6614 - which are connecting rooms - on our last 2 cruises. We are booked for these rooms on our upcoming cruise as well.

We love them and purposely book them each time. The noise level is fine - the occassional loud child running through the halls - but not at all what you would think.

The elevators and aft location made it ideal location to getting to the Club/Lab and exiting the ship for excurions. Also, the laundry room is just down the hall. In my opinion these cabins are THE best location on the ship!

We were in 6616 and 6618 and I agree, great location, no problems with noise at all. If Sean is still the room steward say hi for me. He was very attentive and like a little pixie - it was hard to catch him but we always knew he had been there.

We were in 6122...an awesome room if I do say so myself! WE loved being by an elevator. WE too had Sean for a steward. He had excellent service!

Sandy- I had no clue that you were so close...with Sean as your steward!

Sorry if I misled you...I was in 6616 in March 03 not this last time (I was in 2004 for PRC). Sean from Jamacia - right? Maybe I was in 6116 the other side of the ship or he moved after his last time off.

Did you get the picturesI sent? Did they get you extra credit for drama?
