6590-too much laundry room noise?

Hi! I just booked my parents room-they're going with us!-through du and they got room 6590. That's diagonally across from a laundry room. Is that going to be noisy? Should I request a different room? I want the trip to be perfect for them. Thanks!

I know friends were in 6588 right across and they said the noise was awful. Mostly people at all hours doing laundry and not being quiet. It was also very hot from the machines.

We had 6590 last year and didn't notice any noise. I also liked the convenience of being able to run just across the hall to check on washer/dryer/iron availability. I wouldn't take this room again though because the steamer trunk is not in an indented place on the wall...doesn't leave you much room between the end of the bed and the trunk. I think all the rooms adjacent to the white lines on the deck plans share this feature.

we had 6592 last year and had no noise or heat problems at all... more heat and humidity came in through the verandah door than the hall but even that was not bad at all and one night I did a load of laundry and it was quite handy to just zip across the hall for it!

On the Magic, that room is currently being rehabbed and the laundry on Deck 6 is closed.

I know I'm probably over-reacting (and um, obssessing a tad since we are still 476 days away!) , but I went ahead and had my parents moved down the hall a bit, further away from the laundry room. Thanks for the opinions everyone, I'm so glad I have someone to talk to for the next 16 months! My dh sure doesn't want to talk about dining rotations, excursions, spa treatments, and on and on! He doesn't get totally into it until about a week before, he misses so much fun in the planning!

Is the laundry room on the Magic on deck 6 closed for good?

Last year we were right across from it on the wonder and I
loved the location! We are on the magic this year , deck 6 again
and I would rather not have to carry all our laundry down
to deck 7.
