Primetime assembled 61 women who were widowed in the Sept. 11 terrorist attacks and their 63 babies for a photo shoot on June 17. The babies were born after their fathers died.

Well, I have just finished watching the program...about Gerald, his wife, son, daughter and newborn son.

My heart is so heavy.

Dan, my brother! Thanks for bringing this to the front. This passage from the article hit me very hard!:

"A 7-year-old boy in California wrote this cute note," said Kellie Lee, who gave birth to a daughter after her husband Danny died on board Flight 11. "He wanted to make sure that if I didn't breastfeed Allison, I had enough money for formula and diapers. He raised $400 by standing out in front of his church and asking."

Nothing else seems important in my life.

Thanks . You're absolutely.................RIGHT . Of course, the same could be said for alllllllllllllllllllllllllll of those RIGHTEOUS DISers who say, "Thank GOD" whenever GOOD things happen in the world .

I, on the other hand, refuse to let him/her off the hook when scanning the terrible tragedy and suffering that so many endure every day . If he/she is really "in control", then GOD is both loving AND sadistic .............

Man has probably displayed his inhumanity towards MAN since the beginning of recorded time. In this century alone, we needn't look past Hilter, Stalin, Pol Pot, and Mussolini. Racism and nationalism have accounted for most wars, aside from the "Holy Conflicts".

The article left me speechless. I just read it and try to imagine giving birth to my beautiful babies without Chris by my side and the *thought* breaks my heart. So sad.
