I recall reading that you can book disney excursions 60days out. Does disney send you the excursion sheets prior to your documents now? When we cruised last year they excursion sheets came with our doc's like two weeks before sailing. Do you need to book parisailing etc on CC 60 days out now? On our past two we just did it the night before on the ship.

Hi Ann,
I received a brochure from DCL about the excursions, including a form to fax in with my choices, at about 64 days out.

We also receive a form prior to the 60 days. On the day I got the form I called to see which was the first day I could book and they gladly told me the date and time which was a lot easier than trying to count 60 days back.

I did not get anything in the mail, but knew to book in advance from reading here. I looked on the DCL website and picked Fun onshore. Click on excursions for the ports and you'll get a list with prices and requirements, as well as the phone number to call. I used that priority seating calculator for making reservations at WDW restaraunts to see which day was actually day 60. If you call the 800 number, they will provide the proper date also. I did book one of the Castaway Cay activities on the 60 day mark. Parasailing was listed as an excursion, so you should be able to prebook. You can make changes up to 2 days prior top sailing. After that, you will be charged(they bill to the room. No paying in advance)

And don't wait too long to make excursion plans. Some of my in-laws waited a couple of days
after the 60 day period and the excursion they wanted was all booked! Make them early, you can always change your mind and pick different ones (if their available) closer to the cruise date. Cheers, Gary

For those of you who got something in the mail, did you book thru a TA or with DCL directly?

Thanks.

I'm sorry, let me clarify. Did you book your cruise with a TA or DCL directly?
