60 Days + hotel reservation without Disney confirmation number?

This is a pretty obscure question and I'm waiting on hold for Disney to answer, but thought maybe someone here might know. I have a scenario where I have an upcoming conference at Disney in October and my Disney hotel (Grand Floridian) is booked through the conference. They have not issued Disney hotel confirmation numbers yet, so I cannot add the reservation to MDE. But, my 60 day dining reservation window is coming up next week and I'd really like to make dining reservations for my entire stay (as I'm attempting some hard to get reservations). Does anyone know if I call the morning of my 60 day window if they can somehow see my 3rd party reservation and make my dining reservations out through the length of my stay?

If not, I will have to book my reservations individually on each day...

I just went through a somewhat similar situation and in my case, the conference travel planner at Disney did not make the complete reservation prior to 60 days. I know because they sent the confirmation (with your confirmation number) once the room is actually booked, and it will show the booking date (which will be the date they send the confirmation). So, if your case is like mine, there isn't anything that they can "look up" since you don't really have a reservation yet. I wound up making a back-up reservation for the one-night we were missing because I was afraid the conference rate was not going to come through.

This is our first Disney conference, and the organizer did say the process for getting rooms is different this year. I think in the past they simply had a block of rooms and you booked on your own directly with Disney. Now you have to pay the organizer and they in turn worked with the Disney travel Planner to get us the confirmations. While I appreciate the conference rate greatly, it would have been a lot smoother if we could have made the reservation directly with Disney. I am a bit embarrassed at how many times I emailed the conference organizer trying to get our room reservation(s). And I know the organizer sent all the info to the Disney Planner way before 60 days, so why could they not get everything booked by 60 days (I think in my case, there was an issue with the availability of rooms; it's crazy how booked up WDW is)!
